I never expected Chris to actually play Destiny, but Chris tends to have a tendency to do the exact opposite sometimes.

And of course it's a failstream.

I didn't even know that you could use iron sights on shotguns. ...I mean, of course it's possible, but it's not a thing that anyone would do. It's a goddamn shotgun. It blows away half a screenful of enemies at a time. Ain't a precision instrument, darlin'.

There is no easy mode.
The enemies get absurdly stronger if you are a couple of levels below them though.
Well, according to bungie.net Chris seems to have applied the level 25 boost you get with The Taken King, so the rest of the campaign will be hot-knife-through-butter territory.

You're giving OPL way too much credit. I doubt he will touch heroic difficulties.

I'm shocked, but Chris seems to be a better player than DSP. Wow.

The two of them are actually remarkably similar human beings for all of their random differences. It's like some twisted science experiment where someone took the same clone of a dumb, egotistical, lazy, self-important fatass and dropped them in different environments to see how they developed.

The reason Chris is a better gamer is because Chris actually enjoys playing games. For all of his mental blocks and general lack of talent, CWC is at least engaged and hopeful and trying to enjoy what the game has to offer. He wants to be doing it, so even though he's pretty hopeless for the most part, he's at least actually giving it his all because it's what he wants out of life.

DSP calls playing video games a business for a reason. To him playing games is a job, and like so many people, he absolutely hates his job. He just stumblefucked his way into a situation where he can make money sitting on his ass with a controller in hand, and he's too lazy and unmotivated to get out of an industry that he clearly despises. There's no joy for DSP. You can see it when he beats a boss fight. There's no thrill of victory or sense of accomplishment. It's the same kind of relief a clerk has when they clock out for the day. Just hammering buttons and snorting until his shift ends.

I hope Chris keeps streaming. I'd love to make some side by side breakdowns of DSP being measurably worse than CWC.

Zero JULAAAAAAY!-s. I'm impressed.

I'm pretty sure when Chris gets into a game like this, there isn't really a deep reason. It was advertised everywhere so it's fresh in his mind, and money and free time both grow on trees for him so in his mind, why not?
