Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Think I found the thread you got it from.

Source 1 | Source 2

Here's some more of what they claimed:
Gaunter O'Dimm makes a cameo, but not in the way you imagine.
The rape scene happens during Judy's rescue sidequest, V switch places with a member of the Mox she was sent to rescue, Judy's on the phone hearing it happen to you and threatens to kill the Tigerclaw members. Alternatively, you can leave the Mox girl there and avoid getting raped, or you can avoid the rape scene entirely if you bring someone along with you.
There's an emotional scene after that when you two meet again, where she cries and feel responsible for what happened, V doesn't seem affected by it for some reason, it's not shock, she's just indifferent about what happened, you can choose to explain why.
When the devs mention Judy is a heart breaker, it's not due to her having preferences, she might betray you depending on the circumstances, just like almost everyone else in the game.
Part of the soundtrack is quite inspired by Death Stranding, there are lots of melancholic melodies that made me shed a tear. During the endings, sex scenes and other emotional scenes.
Stout had a boyfriend, mentions him even if you tell her you don't want to know.
There are no sliders in character creation.
Sometimes, companions will make a move on you or ask you out to have fun.
When a conversation ends and you leave, sometimes the NPC will call you back because they forgot to mention something or because they were hesitant to tell you before, you can choose to ignore them
Takemura's implants were due to an accident.
One of the reasons Takemura rescues is because they were resourceful enough to infiltrate Arasaka, he needs their talent. Later on he tells V he see himself in them.

You build a team avengers style mid game, aka I'm putting together a team, with Rogue, Takemura, and a companion of your choice and you can betray them if you choose to ally yourself with Arasaka to remove the AI from your head, since they give you a solution to your dilemma quite earlier.
Jackie's mother despises you.
Evelyn and Yorinobu have some sort of close relationship though the game doesn't specify, or it does and I haven't paid attention.
You see a braindance of Adam Smasher fucking an asian chick.
You meet Morgan Blackhand and Alt Cunninghan.
No matter what happens, V doesn't die plotwise.
Judy has a sister, she has a crush on male V.
Companions can die, not only Jackie.
You can return to your Nomad clan at the ending of the campaign, or choose to be by yourself with or without your lover.
You can't romance Hanako Arasaka, nor Lizzie.
You meet characters from your past, depending on the Lifepath.
Your actions may influence the murder of others, children included, although you cannot kill children yourself.
You meet Mike Pondsmith's character.
The childhood hero's system got converted into choices you make during gameplay, also the reason why you moved to night city and why you're a mercenary.

They also answered some questions in the threads, but they didn't provide screenshots, so take it with a massive grain of salt like before.

>Who rapes and tortures V?
Tigerclaws

>What types of side activities will it have?
Call lover and friends to hang out, walk around the plaza alone or with someone, street races, bounty hunting, hunting cyber psychos, assisting the police to kill minorities. Lots of good shit to do

>Did the genitals editor actually get removed or no?
It's there. Although you can see your pussy and dick in character creation they lied about full frontal nudity in game.

>Is Stout a romance option?
Yes, but for male V.

>How much of this can you verify?
(Image for context)

>Halfway through the main story you are given a choice to play as V or play as Johnny full time to the end of the game.
He's half right, you're still there, this happens if you antagonize Johnny, you can prevent him from taking over by doing what I said earlier, create and AI version of yourself and replace him.

>End of the main story shows Johnny blowing up a major portion of the city and some of this has been shown in the trailer
Not the ending sequence, but he's half right again, there is a variety of endings according to your choices.

>Half way through the main story, the rest of the game plays out through 2 different timelines
True.

>Does the city actually change between the timelines?
Not the whole city, just parts of it, it's a memory sequence.

>So assuming OP isn't bullshit, what is the "bittersweet" ending for Corpos? Do you have to have high intellect to save yourself from Johnny's mind takeover?
It has nothing to do with ingame stats, the player himself have to be quick enough to notice how to free your mind from control, the hints are there, V is the one who connects the dots, by doing what I already mentioned.

>Tell me about Meredith Stout. What is her romance like? Is she 100 percent bitch? Do you get any special items from romance options once completed?
Not for my tastes, and no, she's not a complete bitch. You can dick her into becoming a bit more tolerable.

>Can you have dick on female v?
Yes, you can also change the size of it, alongside the skin type.

>(In response to an unrelated post)
Not my playthrough, but your corpo boss and that hacker nigger Placide are both romance options.

>I got a question OP, can you kill everyone? Or at least mostly everyone (except the characters NEEDED for progression, like F:NV with yes man)?
Not everyone, children and important NPCS are of limits, there are chances depending on the context, although in the case of children, V's actions can indirectly lead to their death, but you can't kill them yourself.

>Is the sidequest actually good?
Didn't find it, but the sidequests in general were far more enjoyable than the main quest.

>How much can you play it without resorting to body enhancement?
I didn't use any enhancements, I played on normal difficult without any problems.

>Are there any girls with big tits you can have sex with?
Judy has massive tits.

>Overall, how much can you be against the whole idea of transhumanism?
You can express your disdain for it, you can even have a fluid debate without resorting to insults with Takemura, you get even more dialogue options regarding this topic if you choose the Nomad Lifepath.
Well, that makes the rape thing sound a bit less like bullshit.

To be fair there was a game that had a POV rape of the player but it was halfway in a dreamscape and you were a man being raped by your ghost mother or something. F.E.A.R 2 I think it was.

That isn't really the least believable part.

>Multiple playthrough despite just getting leaked, by same dudes
>You get Cucked by Johnny
>Endings for different lifepaths like they mean anything more than flavor options
>No Screenshots

What would the point of switching with the person you're trying to save be exactly?

Man, compared to the leaks for TLOU2 this has nothing on that.

CDPR's Facebook page is full of people reeeeeing about how they took a week off work around November 19 to play this and how they're so bent out of shape about this that they're cancelling their pre-order.

These people are failures at life. Taking time off work to play a new vidya is an inexcusable level of consoomerism.
Bit late to the party replying on this but because of coronavirus throughout the year, a lot of people have been prohibited from using their accumulated paid time off and it still expires when the year turns over. Recently a lot of companies have allowed their employees to use their PTO again, so theres a lot of people right now with 40+ hours of PTO who used that time to call off for the game because they had to use it or lose it, and Cyberpunk coming out coincided with that. I'd be pretty pissed too if I slapped down 40 hours of PTO on the table expecting to have something to do, and not being able to back out and change the schedule because 100 other people at your business also scheduled their PTO.

Yep, I'm skeptical about whether this is real or not.

I think the Johnny Silverhand takes over your body is probably real though. We already know that he's not really a good guy. We know he is still pissed at being dead and living on a USB drive for the past 50 years and at having his girlfriend killed off. He clearly wants V's body so he can come back to life and get revenge.

I think the HEEEEEEERE'S JOHNNY! moment will be when you are given the opportunity to storm the Arasaka Tower or something similar, he meat-puppets you into going if you refuse. This is probably the quest that ends in the Adam Smasher bossfight (the trailer showed Adam Smasher clearly talking to Johnny) and that bossfight is probably the equivalent of Imlerith or Caranthir in W3. At the end of that, that's probably where you get the holo Zoom call with Saburo Arasaka and he probably offers you a way to get Johnny out your head. Then thereafter, you have to probably choose whether to side with Johnny Silverhand and let the city burn, blow him off and side with Saburo Arasaka, or take a third option and try to do for both of them.

(This would dovetail with the protagonist being called V. In Alan Moore's comic V For Vendetta (not the film, which was an absolute travesty and an early example of current year shoehorning itself into media), the main conflict was anarchism vs. fascism, and how they were both equally bad in different ways. V in the comic was more than happy to burn the city down if it meant destroying Norsefire. And did.)

Slipping fan theories in is fake leaks 101. Especially given that there is contradictions like

>Take out the chip and you die
>Actually you never die plot wise

Something being in fake leaks doesn't mean they're impossible, some things are actually pretty likely since they have enough data to work with they can speculate on things.

Maybe they mean V watches a braindance of someone getting raped/tortured during some quest. That latest trailer implied the latter.

Given that there is a black market in "flatliner" BDs which are basically recordings of people who actually die, and we saw one of these in a previous Night City Wire, I suspect this is very likely.

I didn't look at the linked chan threads so puzzle piece me if I'm wrong, but one thing that has me a bit skeptical is how there's no mention of the actual gameplay and what it looks like outside of the curated trailers and such. The "how does this game actually play" question is the one thing everyone is wanting to know, but all we get are "Dude trust me" story plot leaks?
I 'unno man

Doesn't anyone remember how CDPR took massive shit for TW3 visual downgrade upon release compared to it's E3 trailer?
Even on the PC after all the patches, it doesn't compare without mods.
I fully expect the exact same for Cyberpunk, although ray tracing makes the puddles look pretty.

What the fuck are you talking about? We've known the game is a open world FPS-RPG with driving elements for years. Even the first in-game reveal was a forty minute gameplay vid.

That has drastically changed over the last 2 years.
Yeah yeah story and all that it's nice to have but who cares?

Is the gameplay fun? Or is it just another third first person shooter?
This is what I was getting at.

And someone has already started to livestream it, its been taken down but someone from /v/ was able to download it. Edit; I've got the 20 min video downloaded right now, and of course the leaker is black. Just like in the fallout 4 leaks.
Think they're gonna start DMCA'ing everything they can find that's even tangentially related to this leak like Sony did with TLOU2? I hope they do. That would be really fucking funny and I will laugh very hard.

ETA:
In other news, apparently it doesn't work with AMD's version of ray tracing on the Radeon 6800 and 6800XT. This is because Nvidia slipped CDPR vast payola consulted with CDPR on implementing ray tracing into the game. If you have managed to score a 6800XT you can probably still max it RTX off. Given that we know that the XSX and PS5 versions of the game are basically the PS4 and Xbone versions of it because they're all x86 based systems anyhow, but with a higher resolution and additional ambient NPCs thrown in, and run from the same discs (which is why they say it's a Xbone/PS4 game that "also runs on" PS5 and XSX), and that dedicated XSX and PS5 versions are coming next spring, and given that we know that AMD does the GPU in the new consoles which are based on Big Navi, I suspect that is when the PC version will get ray tracing for AMD cards.

But this is all moot anyhow because both RTX 3080 and Radeon 6800XT are vaporware right now. And consensus over on the hardware thread is that ray tracing is a meme.
I have reached the conclusion that this use of the term "ray tracing" by the GPU manufacturers is a literal meme that wastes space on the silicon that could have been used for more cores of useful hardware and wastes development time that could be better spent making the drivers not total shit.

70GB sounds like a really small install size for an open world game.
GTA 3 fit on a single 4.7GB DVD. 70GB is fuck-huge for any game. It's pure developer incompetence and compensation for shitty console hardware that leads to this ridiculous explosion in game sizes.

It's literally just textures and models that are bloating games complaining about install sizes is such a poorfag complaint. If it was complaining about patch size it makes sense, because that's what is holding you up after you buy a game and betrays the game wasn't remotely ready at launch.

Some answers here. He says the shooting gets better as you level up and get enhancements
Maybe I'm wrong but it reminds me of Kingdom Come's ridiculous leveling mechanic where your precision blows and strikes only do real damage after you're leveled enough, and then after a certain point you become the Terminator.
I like action/shooter RPGs but only if a player's technical skill can outmatch level requirements, like learning the mechanics and tricks so well you can tough your way through an area/mission you're not supposed to be in and get extra rewards.

It's not fun if I have my cursor on a guy and fire, only for my bullet to whiz two miles away from him just because I'm not level 20 with the "shoot where you aim" perk.
