I could overlook a lot of this and just enjoy the game while turning my brain off. However, the forced and constant presence of Johnny with no ability to rip him out and the "no good endings cause this is edgypunk and happiness doesnt exist" endings are really sending spears through even my shitty expectations.

I didn't care about Keanu before. This game might make me actively hate him.

At first possibly not, I was planning to nab the GOG version since pirating those is super easy.

I'd personally wait 3 days/a week just so all the usual sites have the day 1 patch version plus whatever inevitable other day 2 patches and etc come out.
