Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

So I was watching some bits of the russian dude's gameplay. Anyone want to tell me what is wrong with this scene?

He cocks the gun twice. Once at the start, then again when aiming it at the guy behind the counter.
This is shit I expect from some dopehead director in 80's era hollywood, not a game with gunplay at it's core.

The more I look at the information available about Cyberpunk 2077 the more I am drawn to Fallout: New Vegas. I really think it's astounding that New Vegas seems to have accomplished all that Cyberpunk set out to accomplish and did so a decade earlier. More incredible is that even with New Vegas as a template, Cyberpunk seems to be struggling to capture any sort of magic whatsoever besides a few nice vistas made for trailer reveals. In terms of the gameplay, setting, motifs and scenario it looks like New Vegas managed to do it all. The House faction really ties up a lot of the premise of Cyberpunk without the pandering and predictability.

I think I saw it mentioned earlier but even though New Vegas is incomplete, Cyberpunk manages to do less and come off as more cobbled together. Likely due to multiple development teams/cycles working out of sync with one another and because some of the talent left the production altogether half-way through.

GOG version with the Day 1 is up, and the dude ain't seeding. Way to go pal.

Also holding the gun on its side so the ejected casing can fly back into its face and not actually pointing it directly at anyone.

I think the gun cocking was done on purpose, because in the video i'm sure it shows he had zero bullets in the mag.

It's something amateurs do all the time, and it's not like the gun is going to break. Should've had a bullet fall out, but what can you do.
And I would buy that if it wasn't hours into the story when multiple gun fights have taken place, and if the character didn't have a background suggesting they have a lot of combat experience.

The amateurs here are the directors.

Then why cock it outside when the video starts?

If the reason amounts to "oh we just did it because" or "oh don't worry about it, the character must just be retarded" that's equally as dumb.

You mean to tell me a bunch of vidya nerds have no idea how real firearms work? This is news to me...

I don't think I've had my hype die over a game faster than with Cyberpunk 2077. I kinda shrugged off my scepticism after all the red flags since the initial in game trailer, but man... I didn't expect the final game to be a bug ridden Watch Dogs 2 clone. This is depressing
