How'd I do?

Most common cyberpunk posts on reddit:
1: Dicks glitching through pants
2: Three seashells.

Played through a few hours of 2077, the 2077 of 2013 that I got interested in isn't there and it's not exactly sure what replaced it. Something feels off but I can't put my finger on what.

The true moral and philosophical duality of Cyberpunk 2077, and the genre itself

Anyone know if an EVGA 970, 3.60GHZ 4 core/8 thread, 16gb ram can handle this game with a stable 60fps framerate at 1080P?

It's an 8 year old rig outside of the GPU.

Yeah, playing through the game, I don't have a problem with the endings. It's clear from the time you talk to the ripperdoc and Dex that the game is asking you to make a choice between living fast and dying young but becoming a legend and dying at an old age but having no one remember your name. Nothing will really change just because you blow shit up, you're just a cog in the machine. The only satisfaction you can gain is by making peace with yourself and walking away.

So far it's running just fine for me and it looks great with an RTX 2060. I left the settings on the high defaults and I'm not using raytracing.

Apparently the mods had a bug thread up, took it down, and put the pre-release hype thread back up again. :story:

Are the people here posting screenshots playing at highish graphics? Maybe it looks better in-game, but the screenshots make it look like so bland. It reminds me of Saints Row.

Uh, that guy must not remember Witcher 3's release then, because it was pretty much just as janky.

It looks pretty damn good graphically, even if one hates the artstyle.

Maybe he's saying 'don't compare the quality to witcher 3 as an excuse'? Idk.

Regardless, witcher 3's dev cycle was only about half the time...

So far I really like it but holy hell is it probably the buggiest game I've ever played. Nothing game breaking but usually at least an animation fucks up every 5 minutes or so. Feels rushed even though it was delayed 30 times. And it's really annoying how cops just spawn right behind you as soon as you commit any crimes.

I actually read very little about the game and didn't really pay much attention to it while it was being developed so I think I went into it with the right expectations. All I really wanted was another Deus Ex game or cyberpunk GTA 5 and that's basically what it is. My biggest complaint is that even though the game world is big and looks great, it still feels lifeless; the NPCs barely say anything and it's missing the random open world shit that Rockstar is good at.
