I'm re watching Skillup's early access preview video where he plays a dev build and he talks about bums approaching you in the street to beg, cops chasing down criminals, and gangs having shootouts and turf wars with each other. There has to be another build out there somewhere because the most complex thing I saw an npc do in my game was pause briefly to examine a rack of t shirts and even that didn't work because she glitched out afterwards.

My theory is AI behavior was basically cut entirely from the game because it wouldn't function on consoles.

They created a scripted mockup for the previews and failed to implement it properly for the real game.

Whether an outside actor did this or an inside job, I hope they never recover from this. Couldn't have happened to a better company.

Or if this is all a stunt and eventually gets exposed in the long run and hell breaks loose, I'll get the popcorn.

Jason Schreier, work your magic, chief. Time for Wall Street or whoever the equivalent in Poland is to short CDPR's stock into the ground where not even r*ddit and wallstreetbets can save them.

Considering the source code got stolen to both Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, this has now opened new doorways. Cyberpunk will be an even larger sex fetishists playground than Skyrim or Secondlife.

No this only means the game community doesn't need to go through the process of gentrification. The faggotry is baked in.
 
This is either a gay publicity stunt to farm pity and distract from their failures, or they actually did get hacked. One way or another, CD Projekt Red just keeps taking Ls.

If the hack is real, which at the time of me writing this I highly doubt, it would be interesting to see leaked mails and learn what exactly went wrong during the game's development.
