The funny thing would be if the hackers got the demo builds that made the game look and run functional.
Get those released to the public so many could play something other than a broken mess.

The problem is that those demo builds were heavily scripted and lacking even more functions than the game is lacking now. The Promised Land of Cyberpunk 2077, Game of The Year never existed.

You clearly haven't seen any overhaul mods for bethesda games if you aren't aware of how far horny programmers will go to see their anime waifu in skyrim
They don't need the cyberpunk models, they can literally just code whatever models they want from any other game and rig them to work in cyberpunk, most of them will look jank but there's always the autist that will put a years worth of working hours coding away in their anime cavern to make it a reality, all they really need is the code, which already leaked, the reason why people think this is gonna explode is because it fills a niche bethesda games lacked and that's the neon pseudo-futuristic playground.

All the hype surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 couldn't get me to break my rule of "no preorders", Warhammer III did, probably because it's not touted as this novel experience, rather more of what I already play.
