Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Even though everyone has implants they should have had fearmongering ads playing constantly about how Cyberpsychos are everywhere and you could never tell who is who had what because of all the hidden sleek implants it'd be good satire on the hypocrisy of society and the media (like how drug addicts are demonized even though everyone is on hard drugs due to pharmaceutical industries)
None of the Gangs, Mercs and Psychos use a legal Ripperdoc.

Incidentally the government (and corporations) are not going to wait for you to go over the edge. It is quite common for governments or corporations (often the de-facto government) to track people who are known to install lots of cyberware. This is another reason ripperdocs exist; not everyone wants to be on a government watch list for cyberpsychosis.
Sole reason Edgerunners ended the way it did is because David went to a Ripperdoc that chips in illegal cyberware.

If he were to go a corporate backed Ripper like Vik in the Tower ending, Zetatech would've known about what Sandevistan David chipped in and would've tried to recruit him like Arasaka tried to do.

It's less about how monstrous someone looks but rather what cyberware they have which could be their trump card in a fight.

For ex. Mantis blade knee or Songbird having blackwall access.

Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 30 million copies and Phantom Liberty has sold over 8 million copies.

In less than four years since release we’ve already sold 30 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077, and as for Phantom Liberty – in just over a year it has sold over 8 million copies. These are impressive figures. I’m very happy to see a large, dedicated community coalesce around our Cyberpunk games. In the coming year the base game, along with its expansion, will be released to a new group of users: owners of Mac devices powered by Apple Silicon chips – announces Michał Nowakowski.

I've really got to jump back into 2077 one of these days; got a pretty decent ways into the game last time, but I'd like to hop back in and make a better build. Also, never did pick up the Phantom Liberty expansion; is it any good? Who'd you side with; Myers or Songbird?

First Songbird but later gave her to Myers.

100%. The Black Sapphire mission alone is great, and all the additional/unlocked Mr Hands missions are neat too, if you’re into the Night City “lore”.

Well, I do enjoy the lore bits and pieces in Night City; one of the main things I like, in fact!

Looks like I'll be trying to pick up the DLC sometime, then. Or, getting a Complete Edition version of the game; I think my local store still had one in stock, brand new in fact.

You really need to do a savegame right before you pick and choose to side with Songbird or betray her since they're both unique paths, and the Cynosure segment if you betray her is hands down one of the creepiest, spine-tingliest, pants-shitting horror sections you will ever experience. There's also a brutal fight with Max-Tac right before that, which combined with Cynosure makes that path miles better than anything you encounter when you side with her.

I somehow managed to break CET and everything that's dependent on it. It won't work through MO2, even it did before 2.13 and while I can manually put the CET files into the 2077 directory, for some reason the directory purges all non-native files as soon as the game is closed. It's gonna be an evening trying to figure this out.

The Space Station is awesome as a final level.
Not creepy, but very violent.
Remember NUSA basically commits straight terrorism in attacking.

True, but compared to everything else in PL its not exactly that standout, especially since the NUSA black ops guys don't have any unique gimmicks to them.

Those retarded faggots gave car customization before they gave NG+ or cyberware customization, and still say "no" about NG+ even though their prior games have it.
:story:

No fun allowed, can't begin as a powerful V and save a lot of time.

You’d think CDPooR would not embrace Wokeness after peak Wokeness was reach during 2024 but why would you expect much from these greedy fucks.

Wish this update added some goodies. Instead they added canned features and dress it up as something new. Disappointing CDPR. I still like the game but Wokeness is falling out of style now. Don’t be like Ubislop or EA. We beg of you.

Wait do you mean the spaceport? I know one of the “secret endings” is “whoooaaaahhh dude The Blue Eyed Man hires you for one last job in space” but I didn’t get that one yet
