Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Your stats and street cred change several interactions in the world.
If you pick the high street cred option in Sinnerman when the corpo asks who you are the police escort winds up spending the entire car ride shitting his pants, terrified that V is going to kill him and everyone else in the blink of an eye.

Feels good, man.
Its not and here's why:
While you ride off into the sunset on your tank with your girl, V isn't happy about it.

While its true you survived the biochip and the heist and your dealings with Arasaka you still only have tops like 6 months to live unless you find someone who can save you (which does seem likely). However V's goal was to be a legend in Night City, something he never will be now. He survived, but only because he ran away. The City still won, V will never be the Merc he or she wanted to be. They will live the rest of their lives as someone who wasn't bold enough to live up to the names of Johnny Silverhand, Morgan Blackhand, Rogue, or even Jackie Welles.
I prefer to look at it a different way: V's letting go of his self-destructive dreams of being the hottest merc in NC and seeking a more fulfilling life on the open road with actual family.
All you idiots simping over Panam are disgusting misceginists. Judy is obviously best waifu.
Yeah, because boning some mestizo mutt named Alvarez is the 14 words option.

I also hate that this thread continues to be pure skub.

Been having a blast with the new updates and finished the DLC today and wooh boy.

I killed so many NUS Spec Ops you can hear their widows wailing from Washington.

Ironically Cyberpunk would suck less if it had a radio station with Phil Collins songs.
Actually I think that 2077s radio stations were almost universally ass. Did they fix it in Phantom Liberty? Or is still nothing but bad techno music, mumble rap, and like two songs that actually are decent?
Don't forget Elon Musk's Grimes has a song featured in the radio station. It's infected! Funnily enough the best songs are probably the two techno songs and bad reggaeton.

If you guys have Amazon Prime Gaming you can unlock a SMG called Chesapeake. The code can't be redeemed on GOG or its launcher, only on the Cyberpunk website.

There may be no microtransactions, but I still have no idea what the fuck this is supposed to be:

Basically you have to buy two minimum $5.99* gift subscriptions to unlock an exclusive weapon that so far has no other way to be acquired. There's a lot of weird info, it might just be a skin, it might be the actual weapon. It's hard to tell because I can't seem to find anyone that managed to redeem it.

EDIT: *Cheapest I've seen on their list of people, not sure if tax is included now that I think about it.
You have to sub to 2 Twitch camwhores* to unlock a gun that will probably be nerfed in the next update?
Great job CDPR...

*not even 2 streamers that you enjoy, they have to be part of the list, so mostly camwhores and other sellouts.

All the celebrity cameos and CD missed their chance to immortalize Terry A Davis. Honestly, a guy screaming about FIA Glowniggers would be super in character for the universe at large.
When Johnny is not being a bitch.
He kinda acts like Terry, especially when V did the oath.

new ending is v removing the chip, falling into a coma and everyone angry-leaving him lmao cdpr is a fucking joke
it wouldn't be so bad if you could tell people you were undergoing surgery but instead you just disappear for two years and (understandably) everyone moves the fuck on because you just ghosted your entire social circle.

i understand they want some bleak ending but the destination is just ultra contrived, why can't anyone keep your romance interest in the know surrounding your health/coma? just give me the fucking Sun or Star ending (again).

It was extremely retarded. The whole thing could be solved with a two minute phone call to your pals. Gotta have that sad ending though, like killing Johnny and losing your combat abilities wasn't enough.

Tfw you can kill yourself after Viktor literally gave you a gun and somehow that ending is less bleak.

The way everyone is shitting on you for being gone for two years is stupid as hell, too.
Misty literally left you on the rooftop with the knowledge that at any moment the chip is killing you off.

If you choose to let Songbird live, does that lock you out of other endings? Like if I take the DLC's story that far, is it past the point of no return?

Or is it one of those things, we got rid of one of our options do I now get to go gather my dusty gang of Nomads and kill everyone in Arasaka as well?

More like the latter.
It just removed one of the ending option when you’re on the rooftop.

Gotcha, so I'm not locked into doing it, which is really all I care about. I'm not really down with that whole "Being a fed" thing in my own little roleplay.

That said unless Songbird's betrayal is particularly heinous I don't really see myself letting her die in order to appease the NUSA which can eat shit.

So I've gotta say that I've been having a lot of fun with 2.0 so far. Doing the first mission of Phantom Liberty as we speak. I still wish your pants didn't automatically tuck into your fucking shoes in this game. Like c'mon you couldn't do an RDR2 or Ghost Recon Wildlands where you can choose to tuck or be a normal person? At least Silverhand's Cowboy boots are coded so the pants go over them so I can do a cool black on black outfit with V's New Pants, SAMURAI 2020 tour shirt, Silverhand's boots and the Rocker's Heart Crystaljock Bomber. Looks pretty clean IMO.

I got spoiled reading the thread but eh that's okay. Really lame to hear the new ending is ]just V taking out the chip and going into a coma. I mean Jesus Christ there's already a fuckin Suicide ending. Feels like kind of a cop out but hey, I got the game on sale for XSX a few months back and the DLC was only 30 bucks so I'm not too pressed. Playing it on PS4 at launch i really didn't have too many of the glaring issues others did. It would crash on occasion but I'd load it back up and it would plop me right back where I was. I consider myself very lucky, some of the poor saps I saw online, oof.

I don't really consider the game to be a "Super Deep RPG" like they advertised. Some Ordinary Gamers described it as "The most in depth Far Cry game I've ever played" and I would definitely agree with him on that one. It's basically an Action-Adventure Far Cry game with some light RPG elements and a decent amount of choice. In its current state with Phantom Liberty I'd say it's a very solid game that I'm personally enjoying. It's also fun to see Razorfist sperg about it and Starfield so that's a plus.

Oh and it's probably been said but I don't feel like doing research on this thread to find out so please leave your clocks below if it's been said but apparently The Sphere Hunter AKA Suzi Hunter AKA definitely one of the more convincing troons I've ever seen if I'm just being honest, is playing a side character in Phantom Liberty named Stella who is apparently the older sister of the end credits girl from Edgerunners who is based on Sphere Hunter to begin with apparently.
