Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

There are tiers of abuse victim.

This is nothing compared to the dead-eyed stares of the fans of various Capcom franchises like Breath of Fire.
I will never forgive Capcom for that. BoF5 was flawed, but it had a definite vision and was fun once you understood how things worked and stopped dying as much. It actually was good, but unlike the other games, it was not for everyone. Hopefully Bof6 is like this but more refined and plays better so everyone can enjoy the series and people that played 5 can appreciate it more.

Then the next game came 13 years later, was an online-only mobile game which was horrendously shit in terms of gameplay, aesthetics and a pay-to-win game that was a massive insult to the fans, who had jackshit for nearly a decade. And to top it off they took the servers down after a year. Yeah, fuck you too Capcom.

it's even worse
she's basically told V to fuck off and don't even try to visit her
goddamn, that was cold.
Cyberpunk means chaos. Every individual stands isolated against the neon void. No real bonds. Just emptiness. Alone, always.

On the other hand, having every game ending be bleak is a tad excessive.

That's something i fucking hate about the new game releases.

Multiple endings and to make sure no ending is better than the other the writers make em all bleak in some way.

It's funny how a 4chan VN about dinosaurs manages to do four endings that aren't the same blend of bleakness.

Why the fuck did CDPR put a tranny in the game? A tranny who's 'famous' for jerking off on chaturbate and making a few porn videos with his tranny friends? Speaking of which, why is said tranny earning money on Twitch, a site where children go to watch people play videogames?
She's actually most famous for getting her fanboys to ruin patrick tomlinson's career, and for getting Anthony Cumia to play with her "gun"

She? Her? He has a cock, therefore he's a man. Use the correct pronouns please.
Still never understand how this dude got so 'popular' and like a turd that won't flush, won't fuck off and die.

I think the level scaling is good. 2077 suffered tonally and narratively from being a looter shooter, so minimizing those systems by making you do less looting is a plus. The downside is that now I can't find anything to spend my money on.

Also scaling enemy strength doesn't break the aesthetics since you steadily gain many more abilities and powers which naturally puts you ahead of them regardless of what the stats say. It doesn't matter if the same guys I fought at level 3 now have greatly inflated health pools and damage output at level 20; I can instakill them at half health and have crit modifiers on top of headshot multipliers. The scaling just means that they can pose a credible threat if I don't use my new abilities well.

Oh and it's probably been said but I don't feel like doing research on this thread to find out so please leave your clocks below if it's been said but apparently The Sphere Hunter AKA Suzi Hunter AKA definitely one of the more convincing troons I've ever seen if I'm just being honest, is playing a side character in Phantom Liberty named Stella who is apparently the older sister of the end credits girl from Edgerunners who is based on Sphere Hunter to begin with apparently.
I genuinely hope you're lying or wrong.

The new ending is reatarded. To many character assassinations (Aldacdos) so CDPR can get their doom porn. At least we know a cure is possible.

Edit: The problem isn't the idea of ending its self its how they executed it. An easy way to avoid all this BS would be to give Amneisa from the surgery. But no they decided to put a torch to everything.

I didn't finish the game, the issue wasn't the story, graphics, or gameplay. It's just the world is too bleak and depressing, this is essentially what society is marching towards to and I hate it. I'm not to concerned about spoilers but is there an ending where you get to nuke Night City or do something destructive to the regime present? I may get back into the game with that knowledge.

I get what they're going for but I can see why the theme bothers people. Die for something or live for nothing. I miss happy endings.
No, again. The theme of cyberpunk is the uselessness of rebelling against corpos for ideals.
The theme of CP2077 is die for nothing or live for nothing. And apparently the obvious choice is the bad one. Cuz muh suicide good and I'm supposed to feel bad that the people I helped get away from this cruel unending ring is.... to try and guilt trip them?

That I just magically give up on the people who's lives got worse, instead of being DLC becausee CDPR fucked up GTA someehow?

Yeah no irl is much worse. At the least corpos in dystopias admit to their corruption if at least behind closed doors.
TPTB irl will do worse shit than the nerds that made cyberpunk dystopias dream of, not for pursuit of money or hedonistic goals.

But because they think it'll be helpful to everyone they "care about."

I don't know what kind of world you're living in where sci-fi levels of technology is on the horizon. The world is pretty bleak right now.
