Fuck male V I guess, lmao

I had this thought that Cyberpunk's biggest problem is that there's nothing for you to do once you're done with the story missions.

Here's what I mean.

Back in the day GTA IV was hated for how you had to go hang out with your friends and how there was a ton of superfluous bullshit like a fake TV to watch instead of playing the game to the point where Volition used it in their Saints Row 2 marketing. But nowadays you see the value in it. GTA IV is a great roleplaying game. You can wake up, watch some telly, get some grub, shoot shit with your pals, walk around the city, put a dog in your mouth, listen to NPC's blabbering while interacting with the world, drive around listening to music, it's a fantastic time capsule and a fantastic role playing game. Even after you're done with all the story missions you can still have fun on a 100% save.

Compare that to Cyberpunk. It's begging for that IV treatment, especially with it being first person. Yet it drops the ball on that hard. If you finished all the story missions and have the DLC then the only meaningful repeatable interaction you have are the Reyes fetch quests. Besides that you can run around zeroing random groups of NPC's or go on a cyberpsycho spree, maybe hang out with your love interest, but that's about that for freeroam activities. There are no restaurants to visit, no minigames to play, no street vendors to interact with, and the city itself feels pretty dead as well.

That's CDPR's biggest failure here really. They've treated the world only as a set dressing for story missions instead of giving it the same level of attention and love they gave to those scripted, linear story missions, significantly lowering the game's replayability. Modders couldn't be asked to fill those gaps in either.

Tbf there is the arcade mini games and the recent update added the ability to race again, excluding that troon freak.

But you’re right. I love night city but I wish I could do more with it. For example when you go to bars there’s no animation of V sitting on the barstool. No ability to call and hang out with your friends. “Dates” are a lazy scripted mission of Panam and V (I’ve never roleplayed as female V) hanging out in the apartment. That’s it. No ability to drive Panam to a local bar to dance or a burger joint. GTA 4 had this and that game was from 2008.

It’s a shame because CDPR spent a ton of time making an excellent open world but neglected to add the ability to interact with it. Maybe Cyberpunk 2 can improve on this dearth of roleplaying ability.

your nickname makes this message more funny than it should be.
it's Maleshepard all over again and in this case i believe Female V players are actually a majority or CDPR will just change the %'s to make it look like.
The last thing you said is the truth.
I remember seeing some official database and the majority dated Panam.
So, the male body was chosen more than the others.

Even with over 220 hours in the game at this point, I still wouldn't call it particularly good. The only remarkable thing about 2077 is the universe it inherited. While I don't hate it, I'd probably be a lot less charitable if I was one of the people who kept up with the development news for years.
I’m waiting for CDPR to finish up with new content before i start another playthrough. The game is enjoyable to me and really do want to go through another playthrough.

There used to be a bug/exploit that let you fuck panam as femV if you selected male pronouns in the character creator, so unless that tracker is looking at male bodies instead of just male pronouns those numbers could be pretty skewed. People REALLY wanted lesbo Panam.

I thought you couldn’t fuck Judy if you were female V but had a penis? Are TERFs so based they transcend bugs?

The fandom page had this list last time i checked:
  • Panam: Male body (voice doesn't matter)
  • Judy: Female body and female voice.
  • River: Female body (voice doesn't matter)
  • Kerry: Male body and male voice.
The most homosexual options are the most hetero choices on V. Sounds absurd, but there is.
I remember something about cut content and having Judy as a GF with male body but idk if a mod exists.

I think this may have changed as I can can remember Judy wanting nothing to do with a penis and this being a thing. No doubt the trannies got the changed.

The FOMO is unnecessary imo.

Pretty unlikely if anything worthy is coming out, as many of them were just previously existing mods added as an update, improving photomode or just game collabs.

And whatever other content to celebrate the announced anime or live action series is likely to be cosmetics.

come on now, nexus did toss a bitchfit over it and had the first mod removed but it's literally cut content.
Playing devil's advocate here.
I haven't put much thought into it beyond player freedom but dating both Panam and Judy would complicate The Lover's ending and I assume it's the reason why for gender locking their relationships.
