Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

In the one leaked video it showed all of them. There's:
1. Blackest night in Africa skin
2. Regular brown skin
3. Tanned/Olive skin
4. Yellowish skin
5. Regular white skin
6. Ivory white skin

I'm curious if you can get the cyber surgery to look like the Autograph robot girl, but I doubt it. That'll probably just be special NPC's only.
Holy shit that's like two more skintones than the four Sims 2 had in 2004.... Gaming has been saved

Wasn't there something about how the map for the game was smaller than expected but the reasoning was because every part of the city was finely detailed. I was surprised to see a desert environment in the game.

The human body's place in one's humanity is absolutely a core theme in cyberpunk stuff. Swapping out yourself for robo parts is subtly and not so subtly detrimental to your overall health, some people are essentially abandoning their bodies to stay in VR 24/7, etc. People need to make a judgment call between the very tangible benefits of cybering up and the subtler costs that it inflicts on them as a person.

In the video there are 3 options. Default, Small and "Big." Same for Fem V's tits.

I'm just gonna rely solely on this thread for the whole picture; honest opinions, critiques, Shazam memes, everything. I know I can't be the only one...right?

By the way whoever said "troons and game journalists will whine and probably dock points for some nontroversy" you can pat yourselves on the back yet again.

It was a foregone conclusion really, but still.
>CDPR are transphobic
>women with penises make me uncomfortable

Which is it.

I recall in one of the previews there was a quest where you had to rescue someone who refused all cyberware because it was against his religion and the idea that anyone would reject something that improves your physical capabilities at the risk of your own mental stability was seen as laughable by everyone. When everyone is a freak, normies are anathema.

There is a segment of the deaf community that opposes people trying to cure deafness because it erases their identity.

Actually, it can also just mean using the wrong word in any of the texts - like menu instead of options, or clicking a button instead or something controller related. It doesn't necessarily mean the game is bricking the consoles or doesn't run. And I mean, did you play Wasteland 3? Or which game recently was said to brick the PS5? Was it Spiderman or Valhalla? Or Watchdogs? Because I'm 100% sure there was a new game recently that'd brick people's consoles. Games buggy to hell and back, that sometimes are literally unplayable, can still pass certification ez.
The PS3 version of Fallout 3's Brotherhood of Steel expansion passed certification and much of its content is unplayable due to extreme frame drops. Pretty much any PS3 port of a Bethesda game that isn't Oblivion could be used as an example. Anarchy Reigns is notorious for slowly becoming unplayable, too.

Harvest Moon DS is so glitchy that people seek out certain serial numbers or just get the Cute version. Nioh's PC port will sometimes cause a blue screen due to how the files are decrypted. Then there's that PS2 demo disc that corrupted memory cards.

My favorite is Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor. That game would just kill your Windows if you uninstalled it. The Mac game Myth 2 did something similar if you uninstalled it.

too complicated for normie tards, see titanfall's "success". hence the dumbed down gameplay, CDPR is catering to the likes of arthur gies and dean takahashi.

it's not the amount, it's the color. as long as there's a black one it's progressive and brave. till they find something else to whine about, like no wheelchair option.
Now im mad that i cant put big dick chungus into a motorized wheelchair.

We want the ubi audience!

By not making the gameplay like CoD.
Cyberpunk has a lot of things working against it since it's trying to be a mass market shooter, an RPG and have high production values but it was theoretically possible for it to have been a good game if it took inspiration from something with good gameplay.

That really doesn't explain much. Like alright is Fallout call of duty like? You got the simple shooter elements but also VATS, which is unique to the game. But you can go through the game either without touching it or using it exclusively. How about DOOM 2016/Infernal? The point-your-gun-and-click aspect is the same but the style of play is different. Mass Effect? Depending on the game you either have heavy cover mechanics or rechargeable weapons, in addition to a handful of abilities that can change your gameplay. Bioshock? Gunplay is basically the same, but you also have abilities that basically just act like fancy guns.

"Make a game not like X" without saying how they should do it is a good starting point for a conversation but doesn't really mean anything if your explanation is the same as the starting point.

Maybe there's somthing in the water at those universities. I had someone close to me go to college to be a journalist, they came out a lesbian with a major in journalism and a minor in women's studies.

Reminder that Marcin Iwiński, the co-founder of CD Projekt pirated games back in the 80's and 90's, only to start reselling legit copies by founding CD Projekt, and also that Witcher 2 had DRM and CDP sent legal letters to people that pirated W2, therefore they are in no position to moralfag about copyright and piracy.
If I recall wasn't the pirated copies translated which back then was rare

Those were mostly homemade translations, usually done by a Russian or an Ukrainian. Very shitty and amateur, but that's what people had. Then Marcin decided to sell legitimate copies with professional translations with well-known voiceover actors, and that was one part of CD Projekt's success. Doesn't excuse Marcin from doing a 180 on piracy after he smelled the green in the market and that his company was sending shitty legal letters for pirating cracked copies of their games, only to do yet another 180 and become anti-DRM.

In other words: "I'm as cancerous as twitter with their cancel culture and I'll hold people's past actions against them forever and fucking ever."
