I'm not really interested in the game and have not followed it but it is always funny to see the intense hype train slowly morph to the realization that the (often delayed) end product will probably be crap. If a game gets delayed or is in development this long, it's always going to undershoot expectations. I don't know why people never learn, it's not a new concept.

Battlefield or Call of Duty one hit kill with the knife makes more sense than this shit. That one mechanic from Battlefield 1 where a melee bayonet charge is a automatic one hit kill makes more sense. Just make it once slice with the sword is a kill and add some mechanics like beheadings.

Seems like Judy is Female V only, though I haven't seen any official confirmation yet. Although making the only somewhat attractive female option in the game who was heavily marketed a dyke is hilarious. I feel like this was done on purpose.

This is just the trend in games now, where most of the female characters have to be uggos because beauty is patriarchal or something.

It really was, hell even the parkour was great which FPS games can rarely get right when attempted.

Something as simple as punching in 2077 looks awkward and hard to gauge when you are actually hitting the enemy. Maybe it would be better when you are playing it yourself rather than just judging from a video but I still doubt it will get close to Dying Light's standards.

That's probably because CDPR doesn't have any experienced directors to help him because they're polacks.

They hired all the EA people that were washed out when the IdPol became unprofitable.

Avellone got cancelled so they fired him and now the game is in production hell. They're still making content and events for Dying Light 1.

The world looks pretty bland with random cyberpunk thrown in and none of the music I've heard sounds very impressive either. I guess they're going for ambient music but that leads to certain areas just having weird silence besides people talking.

CDPR sure pulled a bait-and-switch by featuring Hyper in their 2018 E3 spot. Now you can't go to a synthwave/hardsynth track anymore without everyone in the comments spamming about Cyberpunk. Guess some people are going to left disappointed by the soundtrack.
