Never played BS:2, heard it was trash. Never picked it up.

The end of Bioshock:Infinite with the discussion on the infinite lighthouses, the ambieance, and when booker goes under the water with Elizabeth singing "What was once lost, now found..." and Booker's acceptance of his actions. All that cumulating in a sucker punch in the feels where i couldn't goto bed that night without going over all that I've done in that game that brought me to that point.

I'll never play it again as going through it once was enough, but it'll always stick with me.

BioShock 2 is one of the few sequels I enjoyed more than the first entry in a series. It was a lot of fun, though there was one or two too many "defend this spot from waves of enemies" segments.

Infinite was a shitload of fuck.

So I'm checking out that YongYea review somebody posted and he's glowing about the game.
Moral of the story is forget what YouTubers and these degenerate psychotic game journos have to say about games.
If and when you feel like picking it up following some genuine user reviews, go for it and remember that this medium is all about fun.
When I see words like "misogynist" and sentiments like "capitalism is bad" littered throughout a review, toss it out as the mental midget typing isn't placing the correct priorities in order.

CD-RED made a massive mistake acknowledging and compromising with these loonies.

Considering how Early Access Cyberpunk 2077 is to met the launch deadline there are going to be some hilarious bug/glitch video shortly afterwards.

I also love how ever review is basically telling people to not buy this glitchmess of game until a month or so from now but people still are not picking up on it. Just keeping on the hype train!

Cancelled my Amazon order just now. I'll wait until a couple of days after launch to decide if i'll buy it.

Hopefully this day 1 patch will mix most of the graphical issues, i don't mind teh gameplay on show i like bullet sponge games but paying full price for teh modern equivelent of Daikatana graphics is a big piss off

YongYea was also glowing about Death Stranding and was genuinely confused when it did not get universal acclaim (to put it mildly) and was begging his viewers to take a step back and give the game a chance. So, yeah, agreed - he is not the one true gaming prophet and everybody should make his/her own opinion on things.

As for the gaming journos - do not forget, that a lot of them are like the retard, who could not beat the tutorial of cuphead. No idea how one could expect from those people a substantial opinion on a game.

One time, back when I was a kid, I was in an OfficeMax and I noticed that they hadn't passworded their demo units. Big fucking mistake. I set their screensavers to pipes and then set a password on all their demo rigs, so it was all pipes, all the time.

On topic, I had a feeling it would be like this. 8 years in development? Excessively large Day 1 patches? Lots of features outright cut/missing? Shitty VA work?

This was always gonna turn out be lesser than what the populace wanted it to be; now like with Captain Walker in Spec Ops: The Line, the sudden realization that they have been running away from the truth is coming. This game was never going to be the masterpiece everybody expected; there were just too many warning signs to me.

i can only name like 5 games that had around a 8 year development that didnt suck.
