Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Graphics look good, even very good, especially at night.

At daytime not so much. Too colorful and sunny and doesn't really give cyberpunk vibes

Everything looks weirdly plastic and sterile though

One thing- has anyone seen the monorails running as an effect? I know they cut them out as functional gameplay, but I've not seen a single monorail on the tracks since the first trailer- surely it couldn’t be that hard to have a train spawn on a predefined pathway from time to time (especially considering the tracks are still there)?

Why do people need "romance"/sex options in their video games (apart from those Japanese games that are outright porn and should be treated as such)?
For the same reason lots of people play RPGs in the first place: escapism.
I actually like romances if they written well and are interwined to the main narrative in a way that enhances the story.
Problem is, 95℅ of romances are just shitty dating sims for losers to cry over their lack of a love life.

you mean exactly what people have been saying for awhile? its even worse when they could make up a shitload of reasons to keep it at night. just set it in winter, and say V sleeps during the day. In the San Fran area they only get 8 hours of sunlight per day between November and Februrary. so its believable enough. right now its only 50 degrees at night, bullshit up some global warming* to explain why most people prefer working a nightly schedule and boom. problem solve, tell people they can mod it if they want sunlight.

Its especially worse than you think because in muslim cultures and other non-euro cultures the whole "avoid the hot cancery sun" thing has been the norm for millennia. by all accounts by 2077 you will be the weirdo if you still follow this "up at dawn, down by sunset" Farmer life thats been drilled into retards since the Spanish Armada got destroyed.

*just checked the latest stats, those kikes lied, its only going to be 1'C warmer by 2100.

You know what's kinda ironic? This game is a dystopian horror future, but I bet no character in this whole game says the n-word once or does anything else that could be seen as truly offensive. Of course I could be proven wrong, but I really doubt it. A company that fires employees over a joke on Twitter has no backbone to do anything truly edgy. Instead they make it super PC and compensate the PC-ness with ugly clothes, dirt maps and tattoos to give the pretense of grittiness without actually being gritty.

That episode of Deep Space 9 where the Prophets made Captain Sisko hallucinate that he was in 1950s America was more gritty than Cyberpunk 2077.

It's only a dystopian horror future to these people because white people still exist.

PC getting raped would be offensive if true.

Yo, you got it? Play it and give us a bit of a rundown. How many bugs are there?
Playing on Xbox Series X.

I didn't notice too many bugs, but the ones I saw were pretty bad IMO. But I think they will be fixed with a patch.

1. You are talking to Jackie, he is supposed to be sitting in a chair, but he is in the sitting position like 5 feet in front of chair.

2. A couple of floating phones and hearing people talk. But no one was there. As I walked around.

3. This one I had to reload an earlier save. Finished a mission, said I had to talk to Jackie. Jackie was inside building. I could see him in open doorway. But I couldn't get back in because a guard wouldn't let me go back in.

My one gripe so far.
I went with nomad because I thought it would be cool going into Night City for first time. But that is taken away from you. You start off outside city, do a quick job where you meet Jackie. Then when they say you are going into city. It cuts to a montage of you and Jackie doing jobs in ci6, meeting people, ect.. then it says "6 months later.." so you don't get to check out city by driving in first time. If you know what I mean.
