I was just talking to another friend who got the game on Xbox. His save file literally disappeared when he went back to play it. He has to start all over.

That's Sheldon Cooper in an orange wig.

Finally found Alanah Pearce in-game. Her voice acting is atrocious and she stole your car. GG CDPR.

>you wouldn't download a car

The sword fighting in this game feels pretty impactful

kek

Stephen King's Christine is in the game too apparently

anyone else notice cops just spawn in on you? You can be out in the middle of fucking no where and as long as you do something illegal you can watch them all spawn right infront of you, im pretty sure they cant drive either. Oh and this game also has immortal kids if no ones said it already. Better clip: https://streamable.com/0pjgaf
Imagine this happening IRL.

Do xbox players not have a service like PS plus that you can use to automatically upload saves to your account on the cloud?

edit - googled it and apparently Xbox auto-uploads saves to cloud as long as you have an internet connection and an XBL account so your friend might be able to salvage his save file if he wants to.

Do you hunt her down or is that it?
It's a Nomad exclusive quest, I think. You get a notification that your car sent out a GPS signal, when you abandoned it months earlier because it broke down as soon as you got to Night City. You show up, see some work was done on it, and lo and behold, Alanah Pearce shows up. She gives a sob story about wanting to get out of the city and you can either say "fuck you, I'm taking it", let her keep it, or pay her for it. Don't think you can kill her.

That sucks but it's to be expected. Honestly I'm surprised they even gave you as much freedom as to tell her "No" at all.
Now all we need are mods.
And, you know, a properly functional game.

I'm actually glad it's not entirely trash though. This will be a great bargain bin title in the future and I don't say that facetiously. I've been hoping for a decently fun game for a while and while going back to the treasure trove of classic vidya will never leave you scraping the bottom (especially with emulation) it's nice to play something that doesn't look and feel like a mess of jitterbugging polygons.
...You know what I mean.

I saw somebody kill Cox, so I imagine you can kill her. Or at least condemn her to a hellish life in Night City.

One thing I've also noticed about this game; aside from the sexual references and content and vulgarity, this game isn't that violent. Yeah you can snap necks and decapitate people, but I've almost never noticed the blood or gore at all and enemies just ragdoll without a sound when killed and the visceral feeling when ambushing someone is pretty minimal considering that there's not much visually to see.

I could grit my teeth and overlook the stupidity of the review process and launch, the TLOU2-esque DMCA striking everyone talking about the game.
I could laugh at the bugs that otherwise didn't bother me. What can I say, I'm easy and can't even see the graphical downgrades anyway, because why would I wear glasses to play video games.
But the fact that I can't bang Takemura is fucking unforgivable. :jaceknife:
0/10, game unplayable.
