TBF, GTA V was already soulless trash. There's a small chance we get a DooM '16-like surprise with VI.also with none of the idea guys working of it (Benzies thrown out due to royalites issues, Dan is retired and Sam fucked off to music industry) I expect soulless trash being vehicle to next GTAO
True if bigApparently the devs were making their own bug montage videos and they have been posted on /v/ thread | archive

But CDPR cheerleaders told me development didn’t actually start until a few years prior to launch.Supposedly from a 2013 build
They're fucked now. Those internal bug compilations ae proof they lied about the poor state the game was in.Damn, they really were actively developing it as early as 2013?
Jesus Christ what a shit show. I wonder how many times they restarted development. No way it was only after they got Keanu Reeves at this point.
Not sure I buy that all of these came from inside CDPR. The 2013 build video in particular looks very fake to me. I know it's supposed to be really early footage, but to me it just looks like something some rando threw together with flipped assets in Unity.Apparently the devs were making their own bug montage videos and they have been posted on /v/ thread | archive

Ordinarily I'd agree with you, but CDPR was dumb enough to lie and show fake video game footage to investors which leads to lawsuits. Not sure I buy that all of these came from inside CDPR. Not trying to defend CDPR, mind you. Cyberpunk is an embarrassing disaster and they deserve to get raked over the coals for it. But everything got leaked in the hack right? What's to say that these compilations weren't put together by a bunch of hackers using a stolen dev build, and then "leaked" to cause more damage to CDPR's brand as punishment for not paying them off?
I'm just skeptical is all. I could believe that most of these are legit, but that 2013 build video really stands out to me as complete bullshit, which leads me to suspect that the rest of the leaks are bullshit too.
Do I buy that at some point the game was as broken as these videos depict? Oh most definitely.
Do I buy that these bug compilations came from the devs themselves? Not so much, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.
Am I the only person on the planet that didn’t have a problem running the game? Not completely unplayable (on PC) but still broken, and will probably never be completely fixed. The actual gameplay is still meh and that will never be fixed.

No but whenever I mention it I get told I don't count cause I don't play everything at max settings.Am I the only person on the planet that didn’t have a problem running the game?
So, I was hoping that the game might be fixed and become playable at some point (thank fuck I didn't have the money to preorder it), so I guess the verdict is:
Game's fucked, nothing will save it and CDPR has gone the way of EA?
Shit sucks.
Are these worth uploading to the farms? I've put them all on catbox which is hear is pretty decent for now. I assume the rest will be at some point.
Bugs might get fixed, content might get added, but the core will still be a really shallow ubisoft style open world game. I have 200 hours of messing about in it on a mid tier pc and it runs fine for me but i am certainly disappointed in the content. So, I was hoping that the game might be fixed and become playable at some point (thank fuck I didn't have the money to preorder it), so I guess the verdict is:

So, with fixed bugs, maybe some more content (or mods), it might still be worth a purchase in a Steam Sale, I guess?Bugs might get fixed, content might get added, but the core will still be a really shallow ubisoft style open world game. Honestly, on PC it's just kind of a mediocre game. There is some fun that can be had for 20 bucks, maybe 30 bucks if you really like the aesthetic or keanu reeves. I didn't even really have any bugs when I played it, but it has a severe lack of polish on all systems regardless and the game just feels like a mediocre Deus Ex HR/MD thrown into an unnecessary open world. So, with fixed bugs, maybe some more content (or mods), it might still be worth a purchase in a Steam Sale, I guess?
I already posted my impression of the game in this thread a good while ago, and my opinion hasn't really changed. I spent 60 hours doing a complete-ish run of the game and I didn't hate what I played. There were some obvious issues unbecoming of a AAA title and aspects of the gameplay felt pretty shallow, but the core of the game (driving between shootouts interspersed with narrative bits) is solid. So, with fixed bugs, maybe some more content (or mods), it might still be worth a purchase in a Steam Sale, I guess?
