One thing I see a lot from people in BDSM, as other people have stated, is always making sure it's consensual and that there is good communication, and they always have a safe word. #5 here makes me really concerned, and it just dawned on me that there probably is no safeword, and even if there was, these dudes would probably keep being aggressive and dismiss the fact that the women are not okay with what's going on.
There was a post earlier in this thread with a cap of some woman saying her therapist recommended that lifestyle to her, which is bullshit because this is such an unhealthy mechanism. This shit takes over their lives. They have no room to breathe as normal, functioning adults, and live this shit 24/7. They can't keep it in the bedroom like normal individuals. Even dedicating one night a week or like a couple hours a night might be okay, but making this their entire life is some kind of escapism.
