I just wonder what world Derek lives in to think that showing logos is copyright infringement and that the Right Wing Media would defend you because some journalist said "fuck you" to him.

Derek doesn't seem to understand CONTEXT determines copyright infringement.

If I put a Microsoft logo on a webpage discussing Microsoft made products, I can reasonably argue fair use as my work is a discussion of their products. If I claim the Microsoft logo as my own or that it's use by me is legally sanctioned for my advertising a crappy knockoff of actual Microsoft products, then Microsoft can hit me with a C&D.

As poor a thing as a HuffPo journalist is, we expect more from them than from lolcows. It is especially low for such a one to throw the first punch.

This has nothing to do with the fake sin of "punching down". It's to do with what we expect of people.

I've always wondered if Erik Estrada took a long hard look in the mirror after filming Cool Cat saves the Kids and reflected on his life choices up to that point.
 
This fight with the huffpost dude is great. Daddy Derek will follow this dude around until the end of time. I hope that dude wanted to be his personal Clyde Cash because he just got his wish.
