-He wants to get a streaming deal with Netflix, etc
-He is starting a Kickstarter campaign which should go live tomorrow.

-Motivation for release is to get a streaming deal
-He thinks streaming services are starving for new content due to covid affecting filming and release of movies
-Derek thinks this makes for a "fantastic chance" to get that streaming deal
-He has to grow the brand, it has to leave the Youtube and Twitter universe and Cool Cat has to go mainstream
-He needs an investor for Cool Cat Stops a School Shooting
-Cool Cat has aged and his voice had changed so he's going to revoice Cool Cat for continuity purposes
-Hopefully movie will be complete by December 1st
-Derek is in the process of moving

Forgive my sperging but, I hope Jason gets to move on from Cool Cat one day. It’s really a shame that Derek basically strung him along for years only to abandon him the minute his feelings got hurt. Jason is clearly a talented and very kind man. He better credit Jason in the directors cut since let’s be honest, he is what made Cool Cat any form of watchable. Jason was the last person who was able to talk Derek out of things or have any control. Now Derek has all the power and can just do whatever he wants. We’re in the Schizo-era of cool cat where the only rule is, there are no rules. Except for one, Cool Cat Loves You.
