Probably leaving because they have no idea what they're doing and can't get a complicated film project off the ground.
I wish there was real competition to Hollywood, but I don't think The Daily Wire is going to be it, sadly.

I fully admit to having subscribed to DW in the early days. I liked Klaven (and later Walsh), Shapiro was interesting in small doses, and I wanted the scrappy right wing DIY crew to make it. I have the goofy ass tumbler to prove it.
Boreing had the foresight to know there was a media niche to carve out in video podcasts with a professional gloss, but it's never what he wanted to do. He was a failed actor and film producer who got boxed out of Hollywood for he perceived was the wrong politics. Running a newsy podcasting enterprise was nothing but a gateway to his ambition of realizing his failed dream.
When I saw Ladyballers, which Boreing wrote, directed, and starred in, I unsubbed and never watched another DW program again. I had never seen such a low talent, unfunny waste of time in my life. They cut a fucking add halfway through! Unironically they did this! It was a creation of total missplaced ego and void of tallent. If this is what Boreing was doing with my sub money, he wouldn't get another dime.
No one leaves theur $1 billion media company do do better things - there is no doubt in my mind Pendragon Cycle is a overbudget turd and Shapiro knows he has to get the company making money on its core buisness quickly so as not to die. Can't do that while his best friend and buisness partner is fucking up a TV show and not caring about Walsh's contract or ad sales.

The only remotely funny scenes were in the preview anyways. And i didn’t have alot of faith in the movie that i just pirated it anyways.
Both of Walsh’s doc were so much better and funnier. I wish i could buy a drm free copy of his docs.

Personally, it was Mr. Birchum that sealed the deal for me. I wasn't subscribed to DW, but since they were a rising company, I appreciated what they were bringing to the table and were expecting them to prove to me that they deserve my money. This company could be doing great things right now, especially with the rise of Trump. I liked virtually every voice they had except for that faggot Jew Shapiro.
I always thought of Ladyballers as a one-shot because, at least according to what Boreing said, studios were coming to them looking to produce content, but the subject matter for Ladyballers they did not want to touch. And the movie was shit. It did trigger some folks, which is always fun, but it was just so forgettable and poorly written.
But Mr. Birchum was complete crap. It was drawn like crap, written like crap, voice acted like crap, everything sucks. I could not get past the first episode because it was that awful, and they managed to get everyone to hate the content, even conservatives. It was just a laughing stock, especially when comparing it to scenes and scenarios from King of the Hill and even the 2014 prototype of Mr. Birchum, which was eons better than what we got.
And that doesn't even including firing Candace and Brett, two of the dumbest choices this company could have done. Firing two of your loudest, most influential voices because of why? Jews? Drama with a producer, which is even pettier? Nevermind the poor PR that DW has for a company.
Boreing even did a townhall recently where he basically said 55 minutes of absolutely nothing. He just reviewed everything that happened with DW, and mentioned "We were one of the top podcasts on Apple/Spotify", something like that. Yes, you were on the top. And now you're not.
The Daily Wire was being mismanaged. It could be so much more, but it's brought down by people with egos and is out-of-touch with its own audience. While Boreing is stepping down in his leadership role, he might be working somewhere different at DW, so we'll see what happens. But all of this is bad.

LadyBallers was a pretty insufferable movie. The random cameos from Shapiro, Walsh, and Ted Cruz were the funniest parts about it. Otherwise, ignoring the politics, the film is just not that funny. It's also interesting that despite the film being marketed as this anti-trans sports movie, it shits on women way more even with the moral of the movie about how women should stay in the kitchen. Oh and there was random scenes that randomly went on serious tangents about evil journalists and masks.
The funniest bit about the movie overall is how it was meant to be a documentary because the Daily Wire crew wanted to do a borat and thought they could get on women's sports teams by dressing in drag, but were denied because they had to have actually taking hormone therapy.
But yeah the other Daily Wire content from what I've seen is just not that good. Their school shooting movie was just diet diehard with the most standout performance being some guy doing his best to emulate The Joker, Mr. Birchum is garbage with the funniest joke being all the yaoi that came from it, and everything else is just slop.
