The July-December 2009 torrent stops at 96.8% and never finishes.

All have pieces missing.
Yeah, I think we're having problems with DHT. I didn't bother adding any additional trackers because I assumed you'd need to register for some site somewhere, and if DHT worked, that should've been sufficient. But apparently you can just add trackers to torrents, no login credentials required. (I did not know this, I don't make very many torrents.)

So I went ahead and added all these trackers to all the torrents: https://thomas.vanhoutte.be/miniblog/torrent-tracker-2016/

Add those to your running torrents. Maybe that'll help? If not, I might just end up just directly giving the missing videos to someone else on the torrent. I think my proxy fucks things up sometimes.

I think it's fixed now. I was able to fully download that torrent today.

Anyone got the Tears for Kacey video? I have most of what's been posted here, but I'm still missing that one

Assuming you're talking about this video, it's available in the July - December 2009 torrent. The filename is "186 The Chronicles of Chris-chan_ Tears for Kacey [11_5_09](medium_H.264-AAC).mp4".

Ok, so, a friend of mine went over the videos currently in the torrents and mapped videos to the cwcki articles they're in.

I think a few torrents are missing videos (that is, the videos are usually in the wrong torrent). I'm going to redo those incomplete torrents sometime and reupload them here. I'm busy with work right now, so I'll need to come back to it later.

But yeah, attached. It might be useful for people wanting to reupload missing videos on the cwcki.

The approximate format is:
Code:
<article> <date> <length> <tags>
<description>
<videos>
<notes>

@Marvin, I am willing to host an account somewhere if things like this happen again. Just let me know and I'll get to uploading everything. What website do you think I should use?

Hosting for backups or hosting for embedding on the cwcki?

If you're going for backups, there are sites like archive.org and mediafire.

I intend to have at least the torrents themselves as a long term backup solution. It's not that hard for people to seed it indefinitely, I can't imagine too many people are going to be wanting to torrent the whole video collection that frequently. The "yep I'm on TV" dvd iso has been hosted via torrent for awhile.

If you're wanting to host for embedding on the cwcki, you can go with any site supported by mediawiki's embedvideo extension.

Anything you can do is helpful, thanks.

Yeah, I was thinking like archive.org. I may just put everything I have up there

I'm just curious about this whole situation with TheCWCvilleLibrary. Maybe I missed a link, but has there been any concrete substitute / replacement for all of Chris's videos?

The reason being is that whenever I would tell friends / family about a specific incident that Chris was involved with, I would refer them to said incident on the CWCki, which would typically have an embedded video (from TheCWCvilleLibrary YouTube account) on the page.

All the Embedded YouTube Links on the CWCki are dead as far as I can tell. So I was curious if anyone was in the process of updating them.

Also, since this is somewhat relevant as well, since it is in reference to a specific troll involved in a Chris Saga...

What ever happened to all of the response videos by Liquid Chris?

[Edit: Added for clarification. Liquid Chris's videos were gone long before TheCWCvilleLibrary went down, as they were never hosted on TheCWCvilleLibrary, but Liquid Chris's YouTube Channel]

Yes, I know Liquid Chris is an old Saga, but the Embedded Links on the CWCki for his videos have long since been dead since Liquid Chris closed his YouTube account years ago, and there have been no backups of that (at least none that I can readily locate).

After all, we have stuff like Phone Calls from BlueSpike, Kacey and Alec Benson Leary, and the rest... But it's hard to dig up old content on Liquid Chris.

I'm in the process of making torrents of all the lost Chris youtube videos. I started with the videos on this page and I believe I have most of the videos listed there. The torrents are listed (or, links to the posts holding the torrents) in the OP. I might've missed a few videos, so I might end up redoing a few of those torrents.

The next step is to look into youtube videos of Chris calls. I'm sure I have most (probably all) of those. I just need to appraise the situation and make torrents of those.

Now, this is all orthogonal to fixing the broken videos on the cwcki. I think a few people have volunteered to reupload videos at various points in the thread. If someone can hop on that, that'd be cool. After I archive the Chris call videos, if no one else has done it, I'll try to reupload the videos and put them on the cwcki.

I'd prefer youtube, but honestly, there really isn't a technical reason to go with other sites. As long as it's supported by mediawiki's embedvideo extension, it doesn't really matter.

I'll need to get back to you on that. My first round of video torrents was meant to get all the Chris videos at the very least, but I think I grabbed a liquid video or two in there. If it was archived on thecwcvillelibrary youtube channel, I probably have it, but I'm not entirely sure yet.

I have a-lot of the liquid stuff. When you guys want them let me know

Thanks to Based Marvin, we have a great deal of content available to download, but a ton of it still needs to be relinked to the CWCki.

Pretty much every video from 2010 has been relinked, and same with videos from January-June 2009.

Obviously, though, we've still got a lotta shit to fix. I know there's several channels that have popped up as replacements to the CWCville library, but we need stuff to be relinked still. This includes:
-1994-2008 vids (see marvin's torrent for groupings)
-2012-2015 vids (not too worried about the more recent ones, as chris has them on his own channel)
-August-December 2011
-July 2011
-July-December 2009

I might be missing stuff on that list.

How about the fan edits, like this one?:
