I laughed at the polygamous colony line. I think that article gives pretty good hints as to what happened. The polygamous colony line it says was told to the police from Dan. There is another line in the article about how he thinks the age of consent laws are too strict. The idiot must have said that to the police when they interviewed him after he first registered. So the police had no choice but to respond the way they did. Which would seem like an overreaction based on what he was convicted of doing. Unless you actually know Dan and what he thinks. Had he actually learned something from the experience and showed some remorse this might not have happened.

Dan doesn't realize it yet, he probably will never realize it, since he is so lost in obsessive fantasy, but that was his last chance in life. Going back with his Dad. Being forced to get a job and go to therapy. He basically had everything he needed to have some hope for the future. No hope of making his absurd dreams come true. He still could have had a lot better life than what he has now. Now if he is to do it he has to do it alone which is hopeless.

He always mentions in his videos that the girls looked developed and "mature". Usually pedos like pre-pubescent girls with boyish body frames. Then again he likes asian women a lot, you could have a point.
 
Have we seen that POF profile he refers to? I don't remember seeing it.

Not surprised he's back in LA already. Rohnert Park is a small town of hispanic families who are very close to each other and there are tons of kids. They weren't going to take a chance on a sex offender living there, even if they didn't understand quite what he did.

I did feel a little bad when he said there seemed to be no place in the world for him. True. I wish he could get the psychological help he needs but I know it'll never happen.
 
Dan's FB page is gone, most likely removed by FB since so many people were reporting him as being a sex offender. FB doesn't allow profiles of convicted sex offenders on its site. I haven't watched most of his recent videos - has he said anything about this? Not sure how long his FB profile's been down. Maybe it just happened today.
 
This world is so cruel to Dan. I feel so bad for him. He's a martyr for other people's vicious hatred and misunderstanding of his harmless and introspective nature.

Yes they do, but it's probably like his legal case, where if he accidentally made one comment in poor taste about something that would never happen, the mob mentality of white knights takes precedence over the reality of what Dan actually meant. It's pretty easy to draw blood from someone so docile. so innocent, and so pure. His only sin was being naive about the vindictive and hateful nature of his fellow man trying to bring him down, despite spending every waking minute thinking about how to bring them the way to live "The Best Life Possible." This fiasco was never about what horrible acts meek and mild Dan would commit; it's about the self-righteous virtue signaling to each other so they can feel better about their own lives. I understand the site we're on, but I actually have sympathy for the person being railroaded, and even if you don't, the cow will be milked dry with this witch hunt. It's sad all around, for haters and fans alike.

I don't think Dan is a pedophile in the sense of liking 6-year-olds. However, he's made videos talking about how 6-year-olds would like sex with an adult and that's pretty damn close. Dan's view is more "if it feels good for me, I should be allowed to do it, and anyone who disagrees is wrong". So if he sees a 12-year-old who has reached puberty, he should be allowed to fuck her because she looks like a woman. Which isn't legal. Which is a problem.

Also, his Facebook was up earlier today, so that deletion must have just happened this afternoon.

He didn't "accidently make one comment". He followed an underage girl, recording her while talking about her body and what he wanted to do to her, then posted the video online where it got reposted and the police and prosecutor saw it, THEN made a bunch of comments under the video about all the ways he wanted to fuck her, THEN wouldn't admit guilt or plea bargain so he got the harshest possible sentence.

Yeah, those damn white knights trying to protect underage girls from homeless pedophiles are such a problem...

Your troll encouraging him to pursue something he isn't mentally capable of sustaining is ultimately worse than the attack trolling.

It said in the Rohnert Park article that he's required to have counseling twice a week? Has he been doing that? No mention of it in his recent, painfully repetitive uploads.
 
Not realizing a girl is under 18 with something you wrote online, and immediately correcting your behavior and being a model citizen when you realize it, doesn't warrant being run out of town, banned from public events, and as it seems kicked off facebook. Have a little empathy.

I know you're trolling, but he didn't correct any behavior until months later when he got arrested. And he's exactly the same after jail as he was before---worse really. "Model citizen" lol.

And it actually sucks because he's just going to sit in Kim's apartment babbling instead of getting thrown out of VegFest, harassing that woman on the street, or being entertaining. His first two Rohnert Park videos wandering the streets and doing interviews with reporters were the wackiest he'd been since getting out of jail. When he actually interacts with normal humans it's always funny to hear the freakouts afterwards.

He kept talking about how there were no counselors in Sonoma County (@Dave Meltzer pointed out how unlikely this was), but I'm not sure if that's a counselor or a probation officer. Whatever it is, Dan said he had a few weeks before he had to check in, so maybe that was the probation officer. He claimed he couldn't find one though.
 
It's wrong to root for a dude's life to be ruined because he thought someone was 18 but never actually touched her. The irony is Dan's theories are closer to truth than your guys' hateful mob mentality. She easily could have been 18; nevertheless, Dan always considers and respects the law when he realizes it might be broken. He fears doing the wrong thing legally. He simply didn't realize that was the case, but keep rooting for let's call it a "mentally ill" guy to experience suffering. That really demonstrates such good character. You can't laugh at his mandatory "30 day vetting period" and simultaneously act like he was ever going to follow through on any illegal actions with respect to this girl. Maybe the mob (jury) can't be expected to consider these nuances, but we his loyal viewers can.

How's this for trolling: Dan has inspired us all to live The Best Life Possible in our own ways with his unbridled passion and enthusiasm (cue hilarious rapid-fire recital of 7 positive emotions and Self Confidence Formula). We owe him a great debt of gratitude for that. Think of it this way. If he were just out to harm people, as he's been portrayed, and not trying to do what was right ("The Best Life Possible") while being flawed in the eyes of society, his videos wouldn't even be interesting without his redeeming qualities. He's a hilarious tragic figure because he actually IS only trying to live a happy life, which makes his misguided adventures in society so hysterical.

Unlike his haters, all his proclivities are out there on tape for the world to see, and none of what he says is about trying to harm people or violate laws. This portrait of Dan Cilley that's been painted as a dangerous criminal/sex offender out to harm people couldn't be more wrong. He says shit he doesn't mean or follow up on literally all the time, like fucking his mother. When's the last time you've heard of that? Was it anything but the frustrated rambling of someone severely depressed at the time, or was it a declaration of intention? I'm not trolling but people sure get trolled and triggered by the random ramblings of someone you claim to be autistic, bipolar, and incapable of ever achieving a goal.

There's only one counselor in RP who deals with sex offenders and he was on holidays when Dan was there. So that's why Dan said he may have to go back to LA in order to meet his mental health obligations. He didn't remember until getting back to LA though that the judge told him he had until September to check into a mental health place if he re-located. But it's irrelevant now since he has no place to stay in RP now anyway.

In the phone call with Jeremy, Dan said he didn't have a probation officer.
