Not likely. By attaching himself to Roiland he's managed to get himself in a pretty good position, and since Roiland isn't exactly a very outspoken guy Harmon has been able to overpower him and more and less rebrand Rick and Morty as his very own creation. He's basically the biggest name adult swim has at this point and he's fully aware of this, so he sees no problem with trying to act like a Prima Donna and waving his dick around like he's a big shot.

At this point I'm glad he's being a dick about Rick and Morty. With his mental state continuing to deteriorate like this, his impotent rage is funnier than season 4 will be.
 
Decided to go digging for another round of #harmonblock. Slim pickings this time since Harmon seems to be mostly content on throwing himself a pity party and being a fat fuck, but I did find these two:

1-word replies don't do any thread any good. Brendon Small was a voice actor/musician closely associated with Home Movies and Metalocalypse. He's talented, but known to think he's greater than he actually is & led to some ego-trip stories in cartoon production. Dethklok's animated behavior is probably only a half-exaggeration of his behavior I imagine.

Maybe from R&M, but Tara Strong's so powerful in the industry she's in the perfect position to talk about the inner workings & not suffer any real punishment.

To be fair Tara wasn't actually trying to blow the whistle on the whole ordeal, she was simply unaware that the egotistical manchild who hired her on was currently throwing a tantrum because he wasn't getting what he wanted. Though I wouldn't put it past Harmon to fire someone for blowing the lid on his little ruse. But Tara being a woman and all there's a good chance he probably won't do anything to her.

It's sick, but they aren't pedophiles. Quite the opposite.

When agitated into oversharing (mostly by antis and pedo accusations), a lot of them make it clear that they project themselves onto Morty in their fantasies. Making them basically the less socially acceptable version of the fans who churn out endless shitty Rick/Reader fanfics.

Sorry, my bad, at times I don't english well.

Harmon does say something similar to that:
“I think it’s really important that people who have taboo thoughts are able to express them in a way that doesn’t hurt anybody else. But I think it’s equally important that people who are disgusted by those thoughts can say that they’re disgusting."

The key part should be "in a way that doesn't hurt anybody else", and "hurt" doesn't necessarily has to be physical or emotional trauma, but also consent. As in, don't push your kink/deviancy on others, they could get through their day just fine without witnessing your shit. It is not that hard to understand, and yet...

But just so that I won't leave it on a "Harmon is almost reasonable" note, here's an excerpt from the DVD commentary of S01E06 Rick Potion #9, on Rule 34:
"I'll tell you what, if it does exists, it'll be on Tumblr. That's where they dig in the all male Rule 34."
"Man, there's a weird double standard there."
"Exactly."
"Easily offended people versus people who just wanna watch Rick fuck Morty."

Something that was intended as a burn for both sides (and tumblr itself) is now regarded as something ship-positive because of the wording. Because the fandom isn't a big enough dumpster fire as it is. "Shut up, Harmon" needs to be the new "Shut up, Jerry".
