Channel 101 in general was made to do weird fucked up videos and animations but the difference is Roiland owns up to it to this day and loves doing fucked up shit while Harmon tries to hide it for a cleaner image (while still associating with Roiland)

That being said, it's not like Roiland hasn't publicly made stuff of a similar theme. The precursor to Rick and Morty on maybe this or a project similar as the protoRick character attempting to coerce his obviously underaged grandson to lick/suck his balls. Yeah it's a cartoon and not hair disgusting Dan Harmon rubbing his legit penis on a baby doll, but still, from a humor stand point there almost as edgey as each other.

My big question is if it's even possible. He might be the owner of the IP, or Roiland might be and he wouldn't care about this controversy. You can't fire someone if they're in charge. Adult Swim is unlikely to take the entire show off because they're weirded out by Harmon, especially considering how much edgy shit goes on in Adult Swim.

Why are people still crediting Dan for everything Justin Roiland did?
R&M is basically 100% Justin's creation, he's been experimenting with these two characters from decades ago.

Dan is just an uncreative useless fat fuck, if he's kicked out of R&M absolutely nothing will change at worst and the show will become less autistic at best.

I understand the game everyone wants to play by getting the histrionic leftists in trouble and fired and blackballed for doing the same shit they were doing to others, but playing the game just normalizes the game and ultimately everyone loses if this is just the first thing people start doing. This gets a lot weirder when you remember Dan Harmon has gone into great detail on his podcasts that he's turned on by mannequins and dolls and has a voyeurism fetish.

So many weirdos insert their fetishes into creative endeavors by going "Hey, wouldn't it be so FUNNY if X did this weird thing? Wouldn't that just be so FUNNY?" that at this point it should really be the first rule in writing to leave your goddamn fetishes at the door.

This is the big debate going on with the Right currently, a lot of the Fox News types will switch tactics with the wind (see how everyone keeps changing their opinion on Assange depending on what he has on whom) but others on the Right are doing the "let's not go down to their level" thing. The idea of explaining this to someone who has no idea what any of it means is funny though. "No, see this is important because he makes a cartoon that has divided the memeosphere and he's being taken down because he made an internet show about fucking a baby doll... No, see it IS important because he's a tastemaker on Twitter... No, it has everything to do with the president!"

What makes it complicated is that Harmon is a legitimate fucked up pervert and a lot of it is on video record, and there is in fact a huge problem in Hollywood with pedophilia. So really this should be an apolitical thing but it has to be political because everything is now.
