Dan Harmon is a non-participant who ran with the money. Everyone else in production had to prop his lazy ass up, only to watch an old baby drown in booze. I don't particularly care what happens to his career, as he never earned anything accredited producers would earn after busting their asses.
 
So this article is just the left whining about their own tactics being used against them?
Reminds me of when George Tekai was accused of sexual harassing someone and his immediate reaction was to claim he was under attack by Putin and his "Russian bots"

A bit off-topic, but it's crazy he's aged that much in just 8 years. Judging by how he looks in that video compared to him nowadays, I would've though it was created 15-20 years ago.

I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand, I'm having fun holding these progressive types to their own standards. On the other hand, I feel like this could go on page six of who gives a fuck.

Plus I feel like there's a better way to go after the Rick and Morty creators. Wasn't there some interview they gave where they were talking about alternate universes where Rick and Morty were fucking?

The only way we can conceivably make free speech a bipartisan issue again is to walk through this river of shit and show that both sides are vulnerable. At least if we start with "I shouldn't have to be fired" we can eventually build it back up to something people genuinely believe in. For the rest of the year it's going to be people on the Right digging up tweets in the name of hypocrisy (more of that "IMAGINE MY SHOCK THE TOLERANT LEFT" shit) and maybe at some point it can settle down. Autism is on the side of the Right at the moment so there's no question they can find gold in any hill.

Or, like someone else said, entertainment across the board becomes dry and boring and sanitized. That's even better, because maybe then people will be forced away from their screens to live like human beings and we can stop pathologically consuming different formats of what is essentially children's entertainment.
 
If i remember correctly he has always been a stuck-up, smug dickhead on twitter who, if this was on anyone else, would have called for their removal or firing just to get liberal good-boy points. Good riddance.

Even though I think Harmon is an asshole, I can't find it in me to give a shit about the video since nobody was actually harmed in the making and the worse thing you could say about it IMO is that its a forced attempt at shock humor with no proper buildup or punchline.

That being said, I highly doubt the level of disgust someone might have with the video is in any way correlated to being right-leaning or left-leaning, and most leftists would probably not bat an eye at doing the same thing if it were instead someone like Sam Hyde who made the video.
