My working theory is that they use "Gamergate" as a dog whistle for "audience."

They've antagonized a big chunk of their audience, and like to pretend it's just a marginalized faction they can ignore.

They also fail to realize it doesn't matter if Joeseph Goebbels said it, provided it's true.

Harmon should be fired for being a toxic piece of shit on set who verbally abuses his coworkers, who's the kind of guy who tells 16 year old fans of his that their parents would be better off without them ever being born for the crime of telling Harmon his joke isn't funny, and drags down everything he touched by turning characters into his self insert Gary Stus.

Hell, I'm not entirely unconvinced that R&M announcing that all the new hires they got for the writers room wasn't because Harmon's looking to pull another Megan Ganz. He's already done it once before with how almost immediately after his divorce he announced that he was dating his current girlfriend, and said girlfriend has been kinda distant around him as of late.

I would never imagined Dan Harmon would be the most bulletproof person in Hollywood.

I doubt it. I mean, go watch the original Doc and Mharti skit. There's graphic use of a penis there. With Mharti sucking it. Thought its more a Back to the Future spoof than anything else.

The original was 100% unfiltered Justin Roiland which is why it was so good. Plus it established ball licking as an actual scientific technique still used to this day. What has Dan Harmon brought to the table other than being a loud fat man-baby?
 
i know that when im producing a tv show so i can make money, i really love it when my mostly fat,white, alcoholic employees start ranting to me about "free speech" whenever they get dragged on twitter. Despite the fact that I partially pay them a shitload of money to maintain a relatively respectful public presence so as not to put the show ratings in jeopardy and that stipulations like this have basically existed in all show contracts since the dawn of the broadcasting industry, im totally fine with this behavior. It's not infantile or pathetic or worthy of blacklisting at all.

I have no sympathy for these comedians. When Bill Maher was taken to the woodshed and count dankula was facing jail, they not only didn't defend them, they went out of their way to signal their virtue about how horrible making a nazi or nigger joke is. Then they had the brass balls to accuse people of saying these same tools of.social.media mobbing would be turned against them to be alt right sympathisers.


Well, we were right. First they came for Bill Maher and they said nothing as they were not racists. Then they came for Dankula and said nothing as they were not edgelords. Now they have come for them, and nobody is left to help. They built this cross with their own hands and handed the worst people imaginable the hammer and nails. Let them hang on it.
