TGWTG Dan Olson / Folding Ideas - Pseudo-Intellectual Hipster, Child Pornographer, and All-Around Exceptional Individual

Imagine being such a failure that your opposing anything that should by all rights fail automatically guarantees a measure of success and an extended shelf life.
The main reason 8chan collapsed was Jim Watkins. These assclowns had less than nothing to do with it.

Just wanted to know for clarification: How was it confirmed that Dan uploaded the CP to 8Chan?
Dan did not upload it. It was some other cow (I want to say Laurelai B-something, but I'm not sure) . Dan, however, downloaded it and by posting it as a proof that 8chan was a pedophile den, redistributed it.

It also wasn't CP by US standards, but it was CP by standards of Canada where Dan resided at the time.
From what I gleamed from reading the first few pages of the thread, the photos posted to 8Chan came from his friend Laurelai, leading people to speculate that the latter posted the images for the sake of Dan grabbing screenshots in order to essentially prove that 8Chan has (what his Canadian residence at the time considers) cp. It's like trying proving that racism is alive and well in America by hanging black men from trees. But of course, the OP is a complete fucking mess and fails to account for most of this with archived evidence of why he is suspected of being involved in the scandal.

This video was annoying to watch and lasted too long, even though it was only 8 minutes long. Let me save you 8 minutes:

Summary: Blizzcon had a Darkmoon fair themed area, where you could buy gacha tokens in one line, then line up at another line to play gacha machines to win pins and plushies. If you won a big prize like a plushie, you had to wait in a different line to redeem it because those are too big to fit in a gacha ball. But some people bought too many gacha tokens, and held up the line until it became 5 hours long. This caused all the other lines to get too long as well. Because live events and panels were watchable from screens around the venue, attendees didn't feel a need to go to live events, and were okay joining an already long line, causing a cycle of FOMO. The line was so long that when day 2 of the event came around, people rushed to recreate the line so that they could be first. Eventually the fire marshall said there were too many people in line, so they had to impose a limit on gacha token purchases and restricted entry into the darkmoon fair area.

Dan olson appears in the video with a face mask.

This is the most soy thing I've ever heard of. I'm surprised they weren't also eating bugs. Imagine this swarm of faggots in masks buying gacha shit. I'm surprised people this pathetic could even get out of their houses to go watch things on screens while consooming mystery tickets.

I thought this thread would be locked. Thankfully it's not.

Dan has now appeared on Tali's WoW podcast. WARNING: It's 2 hours long and there's nothing really important. They just talk about WoW and Dan is just boring.

PUNCHABLE FACE ALERT

PUNCHABLE FACE ALERT

THIS IS JUST A PICTURE ON YOUR MONITOR, NOT THE ACTUAL PERSON

DO NOT HARM YOUR MONITOR BY PUNCHING AT THIS FACE, NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT WOULD FEEL

And yet, when they start to lose an internet slapfight, they just tell the other person to "go touch grass" and then claim they won.....

dan dropped a video on james rolfe: video Archive: https://preservetube.com/watch?v=b3gZOt1Lo4A
Another ride of the algorithm. Although, it's more fascinating to consider this as a barometer of the decline of the AVGN/Cinemassacre brand rather than a careful and thought out analysis. I liked his review on Doug Walker's the Wall and I am able to separate any bias there. But yeah, this guy is smelling blood in the water and wants to cash in.

Edit: I thought this was good. Best part is when the guy recreates James' screwing two pieces of wood together to mount a camera while pointing out there's a far simpler solution by drilling a hole beneath a board and have it under the head you can easily screw it in.

God, this was a slog to get through. It essentially boils down to "yes AVGN is declining but the haters are -ists and -phobes despite me point-by-point agreeing with almost everything they say but they're still -ists and -phobes so waaaaahhhhhhhhh". There's so little actual substance to this video, he's constantly repeating himself and pretentiously fart huffing at an industrial level. This could've easily been edited down to like, 20 minutes. His scale model of the nerd room and fuckin fanfic AVGN episode at the end is the magnum opus of making me want to deepthroat a shotgun.

Comment section is a who's who of equally retarded video essayists/breadtubers riding this guys knob. What an absolute farce.

Why.. Why the overly colored lights moving around. The hard cuts to Matrx-style white backgrounds and back. Moving the cameras. The putting a camera LED's screen in front of a saw cutter. This is a very weird stylistic thing, and 'Lady Emily' the troon and him appear to be close. It comes across as a cult leader's last video to me.

I'll give Dan Olsen this, I really enjoyed his video on Jamie Oliver and I'll standby that it's a solid editorial and a strong position to be a Goyslop enjoyer who supports kids eating Chicken Nuggies out of sheer economical convenience.

But trying to sit thru an hour plus analysis on the ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD. Well it kinda confirms to me that I may not have autism and am just merely a poseur because I cannot sit thru something so damn trivial.

It feels like hes going out of his way to make it stylistic and different to lessen any comparison that could be made to James and other internet reviewers. He is realizing he is a failure of a flm maker just like james and doing the video this way is him trying to go "but look i can make artsy good looking things" but they have no place within the video.

This is the first time i had ever seen one of this guys videos. Do retards really think just because you use a lot of big words that your making a point?

If I recall correctly, it was a situation similar to the one that led to KF's "imminent threats to human life" that Keffals screenshotted, where the content was posted by a suspicious/compromised user and then somehow instantly saved within minutes by someone who just happened to be motivated to take it to hosts and authorities.

But this is anecdotal and not really useful. Just what I remember of the event.

The video isn't really about AVGN. It's supposed to be a look at how your criticisms of people reveals a lot about you. That was the whole point being made with the segment on Wavelength and was made pretty obvious with the endling line being Dan saying to himself, "What you need to do to progress is confront your insecurities and accept that you're not a film maker either"
