So I looked it up and the game he's covering, Amy? Was in fact a digital only XBLA/PSN game that made a lot of worst-of-the-year lists. As @Water-T puts it, it's complete trash.

None of them really care about all the stuff they say they do. The whole CA thing has just cemented they are all just slimy fame-whores that will say anything and cover for anything, as long as it keeps their own position on the totem pole. I am suspect that Lindsay wasn't actually covering for Dan. I feel like orders came down from the clique chain of command and they decided to leave to fight GG because CA told them not to get involved in political autism fights.

....You know, every single time I run into what I felt was the apex of shit behavior amongst GG opponents (see also: Todd in the Shadows exploiting Carmichael's death in the first place, in an action pretty much all sides of the Autism Holy War found sort of fucked up), it inevitably is later eclipsed by other, far more disgusting behavior that makes previous cases seem almost quaint by comparison. Even years later, the hole continues to have no bottom.
And what makes this really fucked is the implication that Olson specifically stayed quiet because of the Anti-GG angle.
I know I probably shouldn't be surprised about this, considering that Olson is the one who declared that Gamergate was somehow guilty of terrorism and that minority supporters of the hashtag did not exist, but it always seems like he's the reigning king of finding new ways to be fucking abhorrent in the name of ideology.
