Yep. I have a different username for each site I'm on, but they're all gender neutral. And while I look girly in person, a lot of my interests are stereotypically male, and you encounter interests in online discussions, not someone's proportions or preferred makeup style. This means that I've probably been referred to as "he" online twice as many times as I hear "she," if not more.

Yeah, of course I got called "he" when I was talking about sports or games or dumb loud action movies. That makes sense! It's a safe assumption, especially if I'm on a platform that already skews male. No big! The one trans girl I know is a total tomboy and a lesbian. She passes way better than Spice, and I never even knew she was trans until she told me. I'd feel comfortable hanging out with that girl in a group of other girls, I would not feel unsafe around her or threatened, I grew to consider her a fellow woman because she conducts herself like any other woman would. It has nothing to do with her being "feminine" in her presentation.

I cannot say the same for Spice, who is aggressive and violent, clearly severely mentally ill, and seems to hate women despite transitioning to female. I understand the problems trans women have with cis women sometimes, but neither group should shit all over the other. It can be just as hard for a cis woman to navigate her own femininity and gender expectations. It's kind of shitty for ALL WOMEN if Spice will make this insult about how we struggle with our femininity. I would never say something like that about trans women, but I guess I'M not an asshole.

Plenty of girls grow up with this struggle, their are movies and books all about it. It's called coming of age. Maybe Spice came of age a little late--nothing to do with their transition, everything to do with their mental immaturity. They are so eager to discount the struggles of cis women, and replace those with the struggles of trans women, that I have a hard time believing, Spice doesn't LITERALLY HATE ALL WOMEN. They don't even seem to want to be accepted by other women in the first place, the way they talk to other women online. It's very unsupportive.

If we want to view trans women the same as cis, in order to not discriminate, why would you say that one group is "better" or "more legitimate" than the other?
