I'm wondering what the best outcome should be from all of this. Since housing prisoners is stupid expensive (I once read somewhere $100k per con per year -- not sure how accurate that is), is it better to just dump him out on the street? Or is it possible that he causes $100k+ in damages per year when you add up all the dine-and-dashes, vandalism, and police resources wasted dealing with him?
