And you can thank Reagan for closing the mental asylums because that permanent thorazine drip ain't really a thing anymore
We can thank him for that, yes. Because those asylums were horror shows and closing them down to replace them with something else was still the superior choice even when that "something else" turned out to be "nothing whatsoever."

bruhs the law doesn't specify you have to be smart enough to do something to be guilty of threatening to do it.
Yes it does. Credibility is a factor in evaluating whether an utterance constitutes a criminal threat. Credibility comes in two parts -- the willingness of the person to commit the act, and the actual capacity to commit the act. If a guy shouts at you "I'll kill you, motherfucker!" from thirty feet away while holding a machete you're going to take it pretty seriously ... unless he's in a wheelchair and only has one working arm. "I'm gonna nuke the west coast!" is an empty threat unless it's coming from a person on the very short list of people with physical access to a nuclear weapon, the ability to get it there and the knowledge to trigger it.

You're still an absolute tard for threatening a fed no matter who you are, but when you're someone who's lost a few toenails to frostbite because you walked around outside in 2 feet of snow all day and didn't know better, your threat level is pretty low even if you decide you mean it.

I am surprised no one mention this. This has to due with Federal cases especially.

His public defender will wave his right to the constitutional for the right to speedy trial. This is too much for a lawyer with the number of counts, especially a public defender to get a Federal case prepared, order multiple physiological evolutions, pump him full of drugs for his schizophrenia, etc. The fed system moves slow. He will likely be able to have a bond but it will be extremely high. Unless if he has some very rich buddy or family. It’s not happening. He will likely sit in jail for 1 to 2 years waiting for his trial to even began.

Likely a plea deal will be put forward. The judge will give him time served with probation and some serious conditions on him proving he is under the supervision of medical professionals. Yes, if someone is this bad, a Judge legally can force you to take medicine.

If anyone expect any lols or “milk” any time soon, just move on. Expect this thread to be very inactive soon.

I will admit I watched this strange train crash but he needs to get better. Living with schizophrenia and homelessness is no way to live. Also people fucking with him in horrible ways to aggravate his mental illnesses. Life will never be good for him. It’s just the nature of his metal health but I hope there is an ok life after all this is over for him. Rate me however you see fit.

There are plenty other cows to laugh at and are deserving.
The potential milk is investigation of the tard-trolls.

Even when the feds let him go he’s going to be monitored for the rest of his life, his internet access is going to be heavily regulated if not outright prohibited.
This cow is cooked I don’t think we Will ever hear about him after this
There’s no way anyone can stop him from going online. You could tell him to not go online, he’d nod and promise he won’t, then he’d immediately beeline to the nearest WiFi hotspot.

The only difference is that Hinckley turned over a new leaf and makes music. He also has a YouTube account and has a decent number of subscribers.
Yeah, I was super bummed out his shows got cancelled due to cancel-niggers because I planned to go. His music isn't remotely as nutty as people would expect.

Feds only bring cases they know they will win. 96% Conviction rate for fed cases and again the facts are he did what he did. Completely fucked.
I am surprised people aren't really taking this into account. They want to be known as the ones to not fuck with. You can't tell me Larsen is gonna be in that 4-3% that can get away with this. The feds aren't local police. I'd be surprised if Larsen could really genuinely get away with this unscathed. At bare minimum he's being sent somewhere. I could see em taking a plea deal but the FBI really isn't gonna let this slide.

This is a case where it would actually be true lol.
An insanity plea is very difficult to prove by modern standards because it centers around the ability to prove that someone doesn't understand the difference between right or wrong. Someone like him who streams constantly have power leveled beyond a reasonable doubt. It's not going to happen. The feds aren't a California court.
•snip•
I'm not surprised because this is the same horde that thought Ralph was going to pound me in the ass prison over a misdemeanor charge.
It speaks to the general good nature of this forum that people don't know how this shit works tbh but it's still frustrating to see nerds that would otherwise denounce muh a-logging let their unrealistic fantasies free.
Daniel Larson, 2028, expect him. It'll be here in the blink of an eye, zoomie zoomers

What was he on probation for and what was his rap sheet?

Unless he's a true Mr Know It All, lawyer will negotiate with him getting slapped with one felony, the rest of the charges dropped.

I'm not saying he'll get away with it but it is true that he actually is insane. To the degree that the rule exists in good faith then DL is who it's for.
