An insanity plea is very difficult to prove by modern standards because it centers around the ability to prove that someone doesn't understand the difference between right or wrong. Someone like him who streams constantly have power leveled beyond a reasonable doubt. It's not going to happen. The feds aren't a California court.

If I remember correctly, the feds can also legally subpoena Discord for any logs that would be important information related to their search. Discord users aren't the only ones who have access to that "Request Data" feature somewhere in Discord's Settings.
