The real question: whenever he does get out, how long will it be until he's back in?It's gonna be a long time before we ever hear from or see him again. Man, I got invested in Daniel right before he went to jail.

We all know damn well the first thing he's going to do is get all autismo about acquiring a phone
If he is in a mental treatment facility, they can hold him as long as they see fit and if he cannot be brought to the degree of competency that the legal process requires then he will effectively be held in confinement of one form or another until the rest of his days. He's gonna get out any day now they can't hold him forever
Doubt he's gonna stay forever. I expect 3 years in then after Daniel forgets his fake GF they'll charge him and then release him for time served. Until the US reintroduces insane Asylums we will see him back.If he is in a mental treatment facility, they can hold him as long as they see fit and if he cannot be brought to the degree of competency that the legal process requires then he will effectively be held in confinement of one form or another until the rest of his days.
Yeah, I agree. Whoever is in charge of him is pretty well aware of how much of a public disturbance his existence so he's most likely stuck inside some kind of institutionalized wall for the rest of his days unless they choose to not give a fuck which I highly doubt. If he is in a mental treatment facility, they can hold him as long as they see fit and if he cannot be brought to the degree of competency that the legal process requires then he will effectively be held in confinement of one form or another until the rest of his days.
Fucking milking shit from a guy who is likely never going to see the light of day or have access to the internet a day again. Whats even the point?
I honestly don't see him going away for good. I think they'll eventually declare him "sane" again and chuck him in the streets with time served. If he's really lucky they'll at least find him some kind of group home or other assisted living situation.Fucking milking shit from a guy who is likely never going to see the light of day or have access to the internet a day again. I have had a couple run ins with Lil Sippy/Nick Werling over the years. I’ve seen a video of him eating preserved human brain, from a scientific sample, sent to two different people I knew on Instagram. I also saw his psychiatric reports- he was attempting to shock someone who posted about true crime and horror- and it was serious stuff, with the brain eating listed among it. Stuff about sexual/homicidal fantasies, school shootings, so on.Not sure if I'm late to this, and feel free to call me a faggot if I am, but I just realized that Lil Sippy is an iFunny lolcow I used to follow in like 2015. Used to go by "Fentenia"
He'd sperg out in comments when you made fun of him. A bunch of people used his face as their pfp and made threats to some Air Force Base.
Can't you only be held for the maximum sentences of the charges you are facing? I don't even remember what his charges were it's been so long.If he is in a mental treatment facility, they can hold him as long as they see fit and if he cannot be brought to the degree of competency that the legal process requires then he will effectively be held in confinement of one form or another until the rest of his days.
But being in a mental treatment center is different from jail or prison, as you are not being held there as part of a sentence, you are there to receive mental treatment in order to be brought to competence so that you can stand trial, or be returned to regular jail/prison if you have been transferred to a mental treatment ward after you have already started serving your sentence. Can't you only be held for the maximum sentences of the charges you are facing? They've tried that and he ran away from said group/assisted living homes rather than give up his live streaming on his phone.I honestly don't see him going away for good. This is kind of correct, but if you are being held pursuant to a court order (i.e. for incompetency) it is still seen as a deprivation of liberty. A case can only be in limbo for so long until it gets to the point where you have to do a NCR plea and move on. Obviously having multiple cases and a propensity for picking up charges the way Daniel does complicates things, though.
As being held in a mental treatment facility is technically not a "punishment" an inmate or prisoner can be put in one as long as is deemed necessary and their trial date is suspended until competence is reached, and it does not count as "time served".

Given that he keeps running away from group homes and refusing medication, that might be off the table at this point and him declare him permanently institutionalized in an asylum. But for somebody like Daniel, wouldn't that just be opening the door to having him institutionalized long-term for being both a danger to himself and others? He might get off on an NCR ruling, but that would seem like it would just result in him being sent off to become a heavily-medicated zombie in a group-home somewhere.
The charges might be dropped but being declared too mentally-incompetent to stand trial has to meet a very high bar in terms of evaluation, and with somebody found to be that far gone, they are probably not just going to turn him loose again.
