I see it the other way around. Larson in lockup is a rare example of things working out the way they should.

We don't lock up our lunatics anymore, so most of them are left to stumble around a world which they cannot understand having regular freakouts and endangering themselves and those around them. At least while he is in custody, Daniel is being fed, given the opportunity to bathe, and most importantly kept safe from hurting himself and others.

Newcomers to DL can be forgiven for their ignorance of the various things that Daniel did that made him such a... phenomenon: he was prolific with fucking around- constantly. Danny's misbehaviors also got continually reinforced by the lack of consequences he faced for his actions, and the countless second third fourth fifth sixth chances he would be given on the daily. Danny had a fed meet him, not once, twice, or three times, but four times and was literally begged with to stop being a fucking retard/danger to public order, and this meant nothing to Daniel except for that he had a person of authority to pay attention to his struggles, while also confiscating Daniel's phone because Daniel admitted it contained CSAM.

Anyone coming late to the Larson party hasn't had the opportunity to understand just how many fucking places Danny got thrown out of, or experience in real-time the feeling of watching Daniel engage in predatory behaviors he understands are criminal and wrong, yet decides to do them anyway- while taunting people about his (often correct) expectation of facing zero repercussions for his actions. Wouldn't matter if its a waitress not getting paid overtime for the 4 hours she waited around for Daniel to pay his bill so she could go home and put her children to bed telling him to not be a nigger or its a literal glowie/MacDougal pleading with him for the 4th time to stop, he's going to do it anyway because, like you said, he should be in the nuthouse but they don't do that anymore.

Yeah, as someone who has worked in the type of businesses he has terrorized can I just say I am sick of seeing what he does shrugged off by the justice system and people in general. He does hundreds if not thousands of dollars in damages between wrecking stuff and stealing to businesses that don't have huge profit margins to begin with and makes a ton of work for those working there who not only have to clean up after him but also have to work extra hard to keep the paying costumers from walking out because he makes the business look unsafe. You never can tell what a nut like him is going to do so you have to assume he will get violent to protect the staff and costumers, and that creates a huge amount of problems. Plus I have been there when theft and running out on bills has hurt a business to the point where they have to cut their employee's hours, so that hurts working people who pay the taxes that support people like Daniel.

There is no excuse for what Daniel does and it does so much damage to hard working tax payers he needs to be in prison or some sort of home for the insane for the rest of his life. Honest citizens have to the right to live their lives without having to worry about some nut like Daniel is going to do to them or their business.

I lived near places that Daniel would haunt, it was wild to see the businesses of Golden CO circle the wagons and warn each other of Daniel's BS (like he's a hungry bear) before he even began.

Daniel was a missing stairstep that everyone would warn eachother to watch out for, but nobody ever cared enough to actually fix. Daniel has claimed hundreds if not over a thousand victims over the years, and people still want to give him that thousandth chance, like he's not already a predatory retarded pedophile outside of what charges they imprisoned him with.

Exactly and that blows my mind, also as an autistic person who once had a public meltdown can I just say I find it insulting that people act like he can't learn so it would be wrong to send him to jail, autistic people learn all the time and, at least in my case, our meltdowns are mostly self focused, I have never destroyed someone else's property while having a panic attack, so that excuse doesn't wash for me. I once got so bad the police locked me in a mental institution for over a week because I was self destructive, but I learned and I didn't hurt people they were just afraid for my safety and I have never met another autistic person that doesn't know that shoplifting, destroying property, and not paying for meals is wrong.

He has no excuse, he is just a brat who was spoiled rotten by his grandmother and the public needs him locked up.

The accompanying Reddit post is AI sloppa, so I'm not sure about the conclusions drawn there, but it does seem like the case is finally coming to some sort of a conclusion. Unless the judge grants another 4 month extension, that is.

Also almost all the recent documents on the docket are restricted, probably because they contain psychiatric information.

This probably won't be the end of the case unless they just find him competent and immediately take a guilty plea. More likely (imo) if there's going to be a plea, they'll schedule a separate plea hearing. If it's actually going to trial, though, or there is no plea, the case finally gets started.

Hence the notion Clark will send Larson to LA proper and tell him that Grace left him to rot in jail/the Looney bin while fucking FFC and Adam Driver. We know Clark explicitly wanted Larson to meet a bad end and all, he might weaponized Megalopolis to achieve it.
