This is the first time I've heard of this so I have no idea what he is talking about.

To be clear: Fuck Purism. They demanded Louis Rossmann take down a video criticizing them, so I'm okay calling them scammers. But harassment is a separate issue, and Daniel Micay accuses them of such with no evidence.

By the way, this is false. I checked the tweets of @nickcalyx, @calyxinstitute, and @CalyxOS and not a single one has mentioned GrapheneOS yesterday. Nick's personal Twitter is just full of Israel-Palestine stuff and the Calyx accounts don't tweet much.

So either he is completely making this shit up, or he believes that some random user on the Internet who talked about GrapheneOS' sandboxed Google Play compatibility layer is actually a sock of Nick Merrill or Chirayu Desai (which is just advanced making shit up). I couldn't even find a specific tweet from yesterday about sandboxed Google Play that wasn't from Graphene.

I have never seen Micay dickriders explain why exactly Calyx is so maligned. Fine, let's say Louis Rossmann and Techlore shouldn't have made their videos. But what the fuck have Calyx done?! Hector Martin and Tom Spark have never answered that.

And this is why Micay is somewhat defamation proof (somewhat, you could obviously bring a case it just seems like more trouble than it's worth), his alleging of a vast conspiracy that's incoherent and ill-defined other than they apparently want to murder Daniel Micay for unclear reasons.

Like has this guy actually even been on the receiving end of "multiple swatting attacks aimed at having them killed in April"? I don't even remember him bringing it up before he accused Louis Rossman of it. Did the police even go to his house? I have no reason to believe anything this guy claims has even happened when there's no evidence of the more mundane things he claims like hostile tweets or forum comments. He might as well claim Calyx and Louis Rossman fired shots at his car when he went to get groceries.

I'm with you. I tried looking for news articles, police reports, anything other than his word to substantiate his claim, but have come up empty. You would think that 30 rifle-toting cops showing up to someone's door would merit a mention in the local media, but maybe they had bigger stories to run or something.
