Omniwave was burned at the stake under suspicion of being a witch, only to be saved by god.

She currently wears badass armor like a sword-wielding Doctor Doom.


Bones was an arena fighter who used to job for the enjoyment of the most graceful fighters to enter the pit. During one fight he utterly lost his shit and proceeded to kick the shit out of a crowd favorite, leading to him being brought to the executioner. He escaped and now fights for the Kiwis.

The Lamia.... Well, you figure this one out.

Gentleburd was once a member of the brigands, but abandoned them when they would not stop being assholes:

In other news, we had @Ruin and @Gentleburd just flat-out show up.

So let's go over some of the newer arrivals.

Ruin's new class is a damned strong supporter. She starts off with a modest heal that also treats bleed and blight, as well as a minor stress heal. She's the first character with an ability that cures horror, too - a fantastic boon to have! However, it's her true form that's fucking terrifying:

Her alternate form is so terrifying it causes horror to our party, and while her damage isn't high, she's loaded with debuff and powerful status effects. She has a very nasty blight, to boot. At camp, she can soothe or use her monstrous form to help the party by sucking out poison and disease (though this raises stress). A solid alternative to AnOminous, our main Abomination thus far. Like an Abom, she can't be partied with religious characters.

The Cataphract is like the bastard lovechild of the Crusader and the Jester, zipping back and forth in a fight and inflicting damage, and with a party heal that sort of sucks but is still servicable. Here @BillionBisonBucks uses Onslaught and does a back-to-front row charge, obliterating a skeleton using his ghost horse.

The fucking Thrall is terrifying. Massive damage and bleed with every strike, with the downside being that he makes fucking Burned Man look accurate. He's very finicky but between powerful blows, bleed, a bleeding riposte (SERIOUS), and stuns, he's a damned solid fighter that plays like high-stakes roulette. His camp skills are fucking ridiculous, though. More on that later.

No one's volunteered for her yet, but I noticed something about this buxom beauty that immediately made her amuse me: She's a fucking Castlevania reference. In addition to a whip, her alternate weapons are a throwing axe, dagger, holy water, boomerang, and a special item that stuns enemies. Goddamnit. I see a lot of potential here.

Bob's Axe marks targets, but her melee strikes are unique in that she clears marks off, but does TONS of bonus damage in the process. Almost all of her abilities create torchlight, and several of her abilities let her manifest her divine fire. While she has meager damage output normally, she becomes a battlefield horror when equipped and used right.
