When you are raised with the belief that all good and bad things are caused by immortal beings that give and take away things at their whims, and that you can 'protect' yourself from the bad things by praying to the 'good' immortal being, losing a loved one from anything but old age is a difficult thing to rationalize. His videos are cringy but there really isn't anything dumb about his arguments. Those obscure versus exist and people pick and choose them at a whim. The Atheism fad kind a died off but there is still a place for content that takes potshots at bad ideas that are forced onto people by families and governments.

Dunno, he doesn't even make the animations as a job. Its basically a hobby. Larry Bundy's animations weren't that great but he was just doing it for fun so whatever.

Just came to say I'm so glad this guy has a thread. I mean I don't care if you are religious or an atheist, or whatever you believe, but this guy is really annoying, even more, annoying than your average door to door Mormon.

Don't get me wrong. Religious nuts are also a problem, but their atheist extremist counterparts aren't much better.

He has some serious vomit inducing art. He really makes Dobson seem like Michealangelo. Scratch that, even CWC doing Sonichu is, unironically, more aesthetically pleasing and artistically talented. I rather read Sonichu than watch some of his videos.

Just watch how CWC draws an angel vs how he draws an angel.

The guy is actually a surprisingly decent artist outside of his animations. The reason I think his animations are so basic is so he can produce them at a somewhat reasonable pace for an amateur animator. I mean, his art ain't great, but at least he puts out content unlike some other animators who end up taking 5 years to make a 10 minute short like that Kricfalusi faggot.

I believe this with sincerity. Postmodern Materialism/Scientism is the new civic religion, and most Atheists and Atheism+ adherents belong to a denomination of that. They affirm many positive claims to knowledge on faith and take guidance on their lives from Scientistic figures from the mainstream media and entertainment industries (Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, etc.).
