Since I really don't want to go through 1250 pages in the other thread to find this out, can someone tell me why Shishio is hated so much? Seems like there was some drama before that got him banned, and everybody hates him. Now he's back on a new username and a collective groan was let out.

A bold statement, considering the SoK look for the dialogue with DSP's fans and at least try to stay civilized during those conversations. They ran a charity which was a success, and they did not encourage doxxing or false copyright claims. Phil avoids direct dialogue with his "detractors" at any cost, even if it means that his fans cannot have a teamspeak with him during games (or only the biggest drones of them).

This is also why I've noticed whenever someone talks shit about things they actually did, white knights and people who know them pop out of the woodwork very quickly to try and 'set the record straight'. Case in point you being like the third guy to do it, and the fact that this behavior was why their ED page stayed up.

By my reckoning, they're punching low given their talks are usually with children or people with severe brain diseases, they are not civilized about it given that Nicole and then the Laveria head they were civil to experienced five hours of shitflinging by them prior to that point. Oh, let's not forget Leanna who they autistically shrieked about, to the point they utterly ruined some of their own let's endures by desperately mimicking her and getting rage-filled whenever she was on screen. Oh, and last but not least, the water charity thing was not by Fred, but by Hollywood, and the current one they're allegedly giving to from Teespring for all we know is not being spent into charity.

There was a reason why these fellas were ex-DSP fans; if he didn't blahk them or shit on them into hating him, they'd probably also be throwing him bits to this day too.

I disagree with that, though not in all points. No matter what the SoK did so far, they can hardly be put on the same level as DSP with his atrocitious behaviour. A good chunk of hatred against the SoK comes from the infight people had with Fred, with former SoK or KWO members who still hold a grudge especially against Fred. And let's not pin the charity to one person, but to one group. I rather think people cannot stand Fred Fuchs rather than the group as a whole.

Like, oh im an asshole but look i donated to charity! I didnt totally melt down and flip out at this literal child, block him, make fun of him or treat him like shit, i even let him speak without outright talking over him, mocking and dismissing him! I help old ladies with their groceries, i hold the doors for people, i dont overreact or do the things Phil does--im such a nice guy! give me money and attention, love and praise, tell me how great i am because im slightly more than marginally better than this garbage human being!

Like theyre congratulating themselves for being nice, for being better than Phil, but so is like 90% of the population. They forget that the person theyre comparing themselves to is an arrogant, abrasive, human dumpster fire. Not much of something to circlejerk over being better than that.

SoK had a major audio issue during their Let's Endure of Tekken 5, very loud static. People in the chat think that Vidar or one of DSP's fans is behind it. Someone said that it was being discussed in Phil's IRC chat. And the group are acting like nothing happened.

I can't stand when Phil burps on the mic. The snorts and throat clearing are ticks he has so those are hard to control because his brain is constantly telling him to do it. Burps on the other hand are disgusting and you can easily mute or turn away from the mic. It's easy to not subject the viewers to that and this is especially true on a Discord/Skype call.

Which brings me to the SoKast. There's someone on the SoKast who has been making a regular habit of burping into the mic on purpose, probably because they think it's funny. How can you criticize Phil for being disgusting when you go about doing the same things he does? Phil does it to be funny, and you call it gross, then go about doing the same thing to be funny? Okay then.

The only big difference between them and Phil is that they can read the atmosphere.

Remember when reaction videos were used to be dissed on for huge lazy editing and low effort?

If they're gonna do just that they're really doing no better than what DSP does to his LP videos for the same exact reason: Lazy editing and low effort.

TIHYDP vids do it best by just having DSP's actions speaking louder than words. I don't give a shit about your commentaries. (Sure, some vids do have some commentaries but at least they add something useful and new instead of a generic reaction video) I just want to watch DSP failings in actions, and not your failings.

I think this was about some e-mail Phil accidentally sent to someone that was meant to go to a MCN he was looking into. It included some info about how much he was making. Whoever he sent it to then sent it to Fred who read it on the Sokast. Kinda hypocritical if you ask me because they sure gave Dsp hell for reading Rambo's text to his viewers.

I've said it before but it cannot be forgotten most of the Sok were once Phil fans so it does not surprise me when they do things Dsp or his fans would do. It is also is not surprising when these things are brought up you are attacked by their own cult-like fan base.
