What really got me last night on their stream was hearing they haven't even driven on the highway in years.

They have not been leaving the house barely at all.

why would youtube do this? yotube isnt gonna get rid of regional pricing or force people from lower countries to pay higher currency prices, one problem is youtubers are going to lose a lot of international fans which would be bad. also regional pricing can be to a youtubers benefit. someone from a poorer country getting 5 dollars american for a membership is a benefit.

I wasn't referring to regional pricing getting changed.

I was talking about Youtube withholding payment for gifted memberships if no one is around to claim it. I can see that being a legitimate problem for other streamers. That's what I think has a chance of getting changed to either (a) the streamer gets paid and the memberships just get "queued" until someone claims them or (b) the gifter gets refunded if after a period of time no one claims their gift.

Shes such a potato, cant elaborate answers to save her life. Like normal people tend to expand on why they like X or Y. They dont do anything, please god forgive me for using this word, meaningful. They have the most basic npc life that you can get. Their interactions gotta be oblivion npc tier. Thats gotta be the most miserable way to live by. All that said cant wait for the co-op streams, those are gonna highlight more the dynamic between them and it will give more tells on how they interact.

My prediction, will be both of them will play in the stupidest way for possible, dsp will be in clown mode and khet will look bored while playing the game.

So in that case she and Phil are a perfect fit. Phil has regressed so much he rarely goes outside (a far cry from the Phil almost 10 years ago). Did he ever go anywhere after Panda left him? And no the Conneticut trip doesn't count that was all preplanned by his parents

Just catching up on the latest Family Night stream, can this girl have fun with a hypothetical or have ANY interest in anything? Every single question was read, Phil pigsplained every word, a long pause, and then she gave a “I don’t know” or a safe answer. We know she likes listening to rock music and she likes the Thieves Guild in Skyrim; truly incredible stuff.

Also, Phil has to keep reassuring his audience that outside the stream they have a loving relationship, they don’t tease each other, they share secrets with each other, they do things together, —who is he trying to convince? His fans? Detractors? Kat? Himself?

I used to feel so bad that Kat had to live with this egotistical manchild but I’ve come to the conclusion that she brought this upon herself. The thing is, she’s not a bad looking girl, she just has atrocious taste in makeup and dress. When someone better than Phil comes along and flirts with her and actually treats her right, she will undoubtedly leave him. Unless, she’s beyond redemption.

This is true. The first time he tried to go with Kat, the plans got screwed up and he didn’t get to go which caused his State of Decay 2 rant, the one he claims was his self destructive “depression.”

They did go but it was under renovations so half of it was inaccessible, and they can't go now because "Seattle is in ruins because of the Black Lives Matter protests." They liked buying stuff at the souvenir shop though.

edit: the best part about the kat streams, is when phil learns new things from his wife, for example phil didnt know Kat used to watch sitcoms like friends (when they spend all the day consooming TV and games), he also didnt know kat used to have fish pets (when they live with a pet).

Going back to the ARS memberships, iirc some time ago Phil got a troll superchat in the pink tier (50USD). He got mad at the message as usual and then insulted them for giving him so much money. After chat explained how foreign currencies work he refused to admit he was wrong and basically said "no look the color is pink that means its a lot of money".
So this foreign currency shit has been explained to him before. He's just so fucking dumb that it went in one ear out the snout until this happened.

Another reason why moving to Renton was a stupid idea, because they're locked in a few mile area due to this. They basically can't drive around Puget Sound and the lake areas around Seattle.

Between this, the "this is not a pregnancy announcement" and the comment about the only way they fit on screen is because the stream is widescreen. I know he's super autistic, but this lack of self awareness is something else.

The inability to answer hypotheticals always gets me. I was watching a clip where someone asked DSP what he thought the scariest Resident Evil game was and he want on a tirade about "uh well there are so many and I haven't played them all recently so how am I supposed to know? I'm not an expert, duh.". He then suggested they do a tiermaker stream about it, no doubt so he can monetize a question any other streamer would have been able to answer easily in a few seconds.
