I dunno man, I think you’ve got this wrong (at least for me and a few others I know here - I can’t speak for everyone).

This isn’t about not allowing him to be human. This is about a fat slob sitting on stream shouting to the world “ha ha, you’ll never know where I went because you’re all stupid and by the way, soon I’ll own all your money and houses.” He’s behaved like an absolute cunt since coming back.

I’ll never laugh at dead or dying people nor people who are clearly mourning. But I will laugh at cunts that deserve it getting trollled.

All this assuming Linda even is ill. Phillip tells us she isn’t (we were wrong) so it’s all a moot point.

It reminds me of the king snake stream. He could've at least come off as sympathetic if he said that he feels betrayed by the casino guys because they used him as a punching bag when he thought they were buddies. However, he'd come off as pathetic in that situation and he sees everything in terms of weird power plays so he decided to go full "I AM THE PUPPET MASTER I AM THE DANGER" insane mode during the king snake stream.

I think the "I'M GONNA SUE ALL OF YOU AND TAKE YOUR HOUSES AND ALL YOUR MONEY" crashout is the same, he wants people to stop speculating on just what the fuck he was doing in the week when he was gone so he's doing this whole Snort Begman I WILL SUE YOU routine to try and distract people. He even did the whole priming shit yesterday or 2 days ago when he said "don't be surprised if my trolls suddenly have their channels flagged but it won't come from me but they'll flag each other because I desperately need that Detractor Civil War narrative to become true".

I wouldn't say phil has actual clinical depression. He is obviously unhappy with his life but its all a result of his own actions, not depression. There's more to depression than just "I make a bunch of dumb decisions and have to beg for money so now I'm sad". Phil's feelings of unhappiness and sadness are directly tied to his finances and how much control he has over others. With actually depression you could have all the money in the world and still feel worthless and unmotivated to get out of bed for days at a time. Phil is unhappy for sure but it isn't depression.

I understand what Neger is saying on a human level, and I would even feel bad for Phil if he lost his mother or someone close to him. But people have a visceral reaction because he's such a fucking liar. It's hard to humanize someone when we don't actually know what's going on and he's explicitly said that the worst case scenario (one of his family members being close to death) is not the "right guess."

As with most Phil things, this could be solved if he just came on stream and briefly addressed it, "I'm dealing with illness in my family, I would appreciate space to process it and in the meantime, let's have fun and play games on my chill pahsitive stream." But instead we've gotten days of narcissistic injury crashout.

I was recently thinking about DSPs whole "move across the country" arc and how insane it was back in the day. Do these special VLOGS still exist somewhere? I am especially thinking of Phil going for furniture shopping and also him presenting everything in the new house. There is gold in this footage and I remember it burned a lot of good will back in the day. His popularity was already starting to dwindle and the first detractors were rearing their beautiful heads. This was most likely on THEKINGOFHATEHD or THEKINGOFHATEVLOGS.

Phil is funny because almost everything bad in his life is a result of him committing a string of unforced errors coupled with the fact he has a massive ego that makes him think he is the smartest man in the world. He makes it even funnier because he can never take a percieved L and goes into insane copes to justify himself.

Him being depressed doesnt really interact with that... depression is not an excuse to be a piece of shit and I dont feel bad for someone who wont stop shooing themselves in the foot because they are a smug 'depressed' asshole.

Nothing particularly bad happened with Phil's parents. He's a compulsive liar. Just like Rekieta or Jarbo, he will lie about everything even when he doesn't need to just by the fact that he is compelled to do it.

We know:
1. The event was planned, cause he made sure to point out how unplanned it was like 7 times.
2. It wasn't actually that bad by the fact he mentioned it was the darkest time of his life like 5 times.

He probably did go to CT, but it probably was to beg for tax money, not cause of how sick his parents are, something he probably wouldn't care much about anyway. He probably didn't get all he wanted, which is why he crashed out so hard on Saturday.

However is just as likely that Keht forced him to go to some family function or a friend's wedding or something as he felt the need to point out that it was definitely nawt a vacation guise, however he didn't empathize that as many times..

Phil also might be the only gaming persona besides Mald who didnt come out in direct support of SKG. IIRC when people asked him on stream he did a waffle non answer and said he doesnt give a shit about SKG.
