Ironic that he still repeatedly rages at Mario Kart and Street Fighter for twenty years. And he looks utterly depressed if he doesn't get his dent's disability checks because his life is made to be completely dependent about it.

I was recently thinking about DSPs whole "move across the country" arc and how insane it was back in the day. Do these special VLOGS still exist somewhere? I am especially thinking of Phil going for furniture shopping and also him presenting everything in the new house. There is gold in this footage and I remember it burned a lot of good will back in the day. His popularity was already starting to dwindle and the first detractors were rearing their beautiful heads. This was most likely on THEKINGOFHATEHD or THEKINGOFHATEVLOGS.

It emotionally impacted him. 43 years old by the way. Most people will feel sad for like a month or two before moving on or trying to move on. It seems to drive Phil further into full blown insanity.

If he just came out and told us I, and I suspect many (for we are not a hive mind), would cut him all the slack in the world for a while. Losing a parent can be rough as fuck at any age.

It's more than likely (I mentioned this a few pages back) that she's hooked up to the machines and shit and it really knocks something out of just about anyone.

It sucks and I would never wish it upon anyone and even if he's going to be a moody bitch for a while because of it I can't really blame him. It's a horrible thing to see.

I don't want to be grim but people can hang on for months at that stage. And it's fairly ordinary for people to come and pay their goodbyes and for the sick person to pass away a few weeks or months later with little warning. A real job generally won't let you take months off to deal with this kind of stuff.

So the entire idea people are talking about that someone passed away with finality is very possibly wrong. But they may be in the very late stages of life.

As per usual for this kind of post: ring your parents and say hi and don't choose names on your faggot goyslop switch 2 console that are making fun of a person dying of cancer - it's not very nice.

That may be or it may just be your current understanding of him. I've said previously that him losing a parent might radically change him inside. Not saying that is guaranteed going to happen but there is a possibility.

Phil isn't really known for restraint or forethought. When he got his temp. bans on Twitch, the first thing he did was jump onto YouTube to rant about them and argue with customer service bots. Plus, Doody was also pretty insistent that he knew for months Phil was taking a CT trip and knew exactly when he'd be coming/going, so if he knew that X weeks in advance because of his "inside man" or whatever, why would the trip have anything to do with strikes?

I still agree with your general assessments, but want to reiterate that, unless I've missed something, there's still 0 evidence whatsoever that anyone in Phil's family is sick, let alone dying. All we have is Phil himself, who has been insisting that his parents are on their death bed from a terminal case of being in their mid 60's (now early 70's?) for...what, 6 years now? 7? If a miracle occurs and Phil was actually telling the truth about something, we can look at the DMs Phil leaked (and then tried to retcon as being entirely false anyway, even though we know that's a lie) and Linda has again been on her deathbed for months and Phil only just recently decided to visit her? Even in those DMs, it sounded like despite her being on her "deathbed" he wasn't planning an immediate trip/rushing to get his real ID or whatever he was complaining about so he could fly.

There's also the fact the last time he lied about his parents dying, it was actually so he could run off to visit them, get married and get a tax bailout from Linda. And keep in mind, he lied about that for literally no reason whatsoever. Even if he didn't want to spoil the wedding because of trolls, he could have simply said he was visiting his parents. He didn't need to justify it by saying they were dying.

Behind the scenes stress without any sort of specifications is one of Phil's go to lies, to the point if someone tried to compile an example of how many times he's used it, the thread would jump several pages just from that massive list. I think we can safely say nobody has died at this point due to the lack of an obituary, and it sounds like there's no "well wishes" or the like on their social media.
