Dave Plummer is a scammer, apparently - Dave Plummer aka Dave’s Garage, an ex-Microsoft employee turned tech Youtuber, ran a scam website. He left Microsoft solely to focus on it

Dave Plummer is a moron and a scammer, and he says a lot of wrong things. I remember him talking about hard drives seriously suggesting that they still use the same physical layout of bits on the platters that they did in the 1980's.

The first time I really took alarm at how accurate his content is was when he talked about working on NT 4 and kept bringing up how they got the Start menu UI from the 95 dev team, which is completely backwards from reality (the NT team were the ones doing the UI as the "Cairo shell" for what got recycled into NT 4 and it was sideported to Chicago along the way).

Maybe a 2? His videos are very autistic and he's kind of smug and unlikeable, so knowing he's also a hypocrite kinda makes it even worse. But rather than outrageous I think this situation is going to become pretty entertaining. Spergs like Dave often end up having career-ending meltdowns. Maybe we're even gonna have a lolsuit on our hands.
