I wanted to preserve the video page and I did save the video just in case you wouldnt show up in time to do it properly. My internet kept dying so no uploading of a file bigger than 2 megs. Fortunately I wasn't the only one who saved it.

My dude, if you are aware of it, why did you use it? Use waybackmachine, which does work for videos, and would have been a suitable substitute until you could have uploaded the actual video itself. Yes, I realize the problems with waybackmachine, but note the "until" part of my statement.

That aside, I am very glad that you have actually saved a copy. As it relates to local archives, I do apologize. I will not appologize for the archive.md thing, because if you cannot upload the actual video itself, you should, at least provide a substitute. What amounts to a picture of a YT video does not suffice.

Use Ghost Archive then. There is no scenario where, what amounts to a screenshot of a video, is a acceptable substitute for a video. If nothing else works next, just include a line about having a backup.
