This is honestly funny because apparently even the highly educated officers of the court still have that bug in the back of their heads that all of South America speaks Spanish. Why would it even cross their minds that a Spanish translation is adequate when serving someone in Brazil? Am I missing something?Stebbins v. Baz docket 22
The Court has approved Acerthorn's plan to serve Brazilian defendant Baz by physical mail. Acerthorn has been asked to prepare a English and Portuguese version of the 29 page complaint. In the second paragraph the Court asks for a Spanish version of the complaint.

The last time Acerthorn served an international defendant he paid $900. I wonder how much this will be.
