I really hate bughive types and their worship of a glorified UTV
Okay, but hear me out. Minitrucks aren't really "mini" anymore and having a UTV with more creature comforts than a UTV is wonderful for farm work when you don't want a full sized (and these days very expensive) pickup.

Pickups are still good though, but those glorified UTVs do have a niche.

I'll be honest with you my man, never liked the El Camino myself. Just never saw the appeal, I like the old Couriers and Rangers and whatnot though. And wagons kick so much ass they should be illegal.

Slightly OT but I remember reading the interview between H.G. Wells and Stalin.

What surprised me was that Stalin, of all people, could discuss Socialism vs Capitalism with more nuance than the vast majority of commies today. For example:

The man who organized the Great Terror and the Holodomor could find nice things to say about his enemies. Meanwhile Lazerpig and your average Reddit/Twitter moron cannot even acknowledge that a rival nation's military may in fact be reasonably competent.

TLDR internet talking heads are dumber and more extreme than Joseph Stalin.
I mean in the free world the average person is more succeptable to propaganda all forms of it than someone living in a restrictive society.
The A-10 still underperformed in Desert Storm when all of the advantages where in its court. Then Air Power Survey is pretty damning more sorties than most other airframes more crew KIA and fewer targets killed.
The A-10 is a great aircraft but it has to be replaced in the same way the M-14 had to be replaced.

The peak year for the El Camino or El rancho was 1970.

new piggu
edit: I just can't bring myself to sit through this shit man, they are terrible interviewers
I couldn't make it past the intro clip.

That said, I can't wait to see these to cry like fucking bitches when Holholistan collapses.

I will watch the fucking shit out of that one

It's a Chevelle with the back seats removed for a bed. If you don't think that's cool we clearly have different autism. I will defend the Izusu Brat, so don't expect rationality from me.

I wonder about this. Kasparov says the purpose of propaganda is not to but persuade, but to grind down and convince you your own eyes are wrong. There's another Soviet dissident, I forget, said something along the lines that social shame, not disinformation is the point in a totalitarian regime. They can't stop you from noticing what is wrong, but they can convince you talking about it is wrong and low class.

In utility, I won't argue. But a guy I knew in high school had a gold 80s Ranchero that would look perfectly at home hauling hay at a Texas cattle ranch. But in looks I'd like to submit the first gen Camino.

Propaganda exists to make sure even if you notice something wrong, you think that you're in the minority and that everybody else is either happy, or too afraid to speak up. It's there to atomize society and make it so the target population can't bring themselves to act against the source of the propaganda. The keyword is demoralization: even if everybody is miserable, so long as they feel they're alone in their misery, and that acting against it would mean they'd perish alone (or worse, take their loved ones with them), nobody will ever act.

I just can't stand anything Piggy does outside of a scripted video.

This isn't quite a Ukraine war thread and whilst I luv me hohols (simple as) they've kinda earned the west's trepidation with how they've spent their equipment losses.

Maybe if you hadn't spent materiel on on-again off-again pissing matches like Bakhmut this wouldn't be happening.

Oh god now they think they're journalists.

This is my experience. Ive traveled alot, including to countries with very different political systems. The climate in what we call "authoritarian" countries is one of conformity of narrative in public but deep private distrust of all official narratives. Even government supporters tend to hand wave the official rhetoric and are more honestly like 'its better than the alternatives'. In some cases this is true too depending on the society. If anything, while access to information may be curtailed or atomized, the overall instincts of people in one party states/dictatorships are far more akin to critical thought than the baseline state of freedumbstanis who believe the freedom to choose (from social and corporate pressure selected multiple choice) narratives makes them critical thinking individuals and not subject to influence.

The fact is, repressive regimes are mostly amateurs when it comes to shaping public opinion. In a weird way they are unintentionally more democratic since they often have to be more sensitive to public opinion and backlash when considering their options-especially as everyone knows who to hold responsible if something goes wrong. They could learn a lot from the Anglo countries here. Especially on how to appear free while making all opposition either weak or integrated into that which it claims to oppose or making massive institutions that effectively hold no specific people to account for failure. The things the US/UK/German etc public believes about foreign countries, especially designated foe countries, are often incorrect, sometimes wildly so. The things they don't know about/ignore about their own allies (or their own nation) could fill volumes.

There is an old Cold War joke I am extremely paraphrasing here where A KGB defector is flying with his handler to the US. He remembers what he knows, but the CIA officer is unimpressed. He then says "We also have details on your domestic propaganda". The CIA handler blusters, "But we *don't* have propaganda!"

This brings me, to stay on topic, to Lazerpig. I don't think Lazerpig is an active intelligence asset, neither do I think most NAFOtards are (though whoever first signal boosted them might be). They are something far worse, people who have mindlessly bought into official narratives through sheer ideological inclination and genuinely believe they have arrived at these conclusions through critical thought all by themselves. In the very limited echo chambers they live in they are probably right. This is the world view you would adopt if that was the only information you ever had access to.

Ironically, it makes Lazerpig much like the vatniks he so despises. But with less self awareness than the vatnik about this type of politics is ultimately tribal rather than based on principle.

Oh god now they think they're journalists.

Oh for fuck's sake. Ani has a movie review. "Conspiracy" from HBO on the Wannsee Conference, where the Final Solution was put into orders. I watched the movie, it was fine, glossed over a lot. But Ani is here to tell us it's the "Scariest movie ever". Is this whole hour going to be "Hey, have you guys thought about us Jews? Holocaust, right? You owe us."? Probably. Either way I'm diving into it.

Edit: Two minutes in and he's showing B Roll of that anime where big tit highschoolers kill zombies. This is his super serious video about the bureaucratic decision to enact genocide.

"It literally scared me to my core"

It's a fucking movie. A well cast and written movie, but a movie none the less.

What sort of anglo faggotry is this "registered journalist"? You need to registered to go out and learn what's happening and then tell other's about, and you think that's a good thing?
Getting registered is sorta par for the course for becoming a war correspondent. Various news associated bureaucracies use this sort of mild vetting to network, and this is a practice as old as AP coverage of warfare going all the way back to The Great War. Within the context of the battlefield its supposed to keep track of who is a valid combatant and who isn't, and to assign war crimes or strongly worded letters appropriately. There's been some instances of perfidy with that, of course, and whilst you're not going to see many instances of journalists on the front dropping their notebook to pick up a gun, it still happens and needs legal framework to deal with that.

I don't think I need to opine on how worthless that journalist registration is though. It signifies nothing other than you pass a baseline smell test, and Ani and Piggy being able to call themselves "journalists" in anything even approaching an official capacity speaks for itself. We're far from the days of Hunter Thompson (I heavily recommend Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72).

Them being journofags is quite fitting for them.

@Bubble Ba'ath to respond to your long post the one thing I've noticed is that the propaganda is moving people. There is a young and starting bread tube channel trying to describe how Florida is the evil fascist state

But the point of them in the comments isn't them addressing the arguments but them saying how reactionary and racist said comments are. There is a real inability to understand their own sides hypocrisy. In other words the propaganda they consume gaslights their entire worldview.
That means we can hate them even more!View attachment 5554046
It's okay to despise most of not all of these professional journalists because they're naked liars once exposed.

Had they not acted the same way in the comments, I would've thought the video was a well-made satire.

Them claiming to be Journos just says more about the institution than anything. They care about pushing the message, not the story itself
Honest Journalism is dead and greed killed it.

Yeah but the Brat kicks ass though. We can at least agree on that.
