Due to the powers of the merge his 'comedic' persona's name is enough, if he goes for Dickchan Masterchu the medallion will merely force the merge and entry of Magi-chan from the fictional end of his existence.

This is assuming Magi-chan hasn't tremendously grown in power from the downfall of Rekieta and the medallion being a replica, if it's an original and she has fed from Rekieta's spectacular downfall then merely being in the presence of it will forcibly invoke the curse. The clip where they all have a manic laugh session is enough for me to confirm this is true, merely touching that thing is enough for possession.
