Has any of you seen how terrible Phil performed on the motorcycle from his GTA playthroughs? Dude couldn't even drive straight and constantly run into things
If you have not go watch some of his GTA TIHYDP vid on the motorbike sections, a preview of what it is to come
He's gonna hate this game. I've watched a tiny bit of footage and you do a lot of off-roading and it seems as though the devs paid attention to weather and ground condition affecting how the bike handles: wet and muddy soil, loose rock, etc.
I can already see it: Our Dearest Dave will be driving along a relatively straight path during a rainstorm and glance over to his laptop with stream chat on it to make sure the class is behaving. He'll turn a full 90 degrees away from the television, removing any chance of even his inadequate peripheral vision catching what's about to occur. That miry path wasn't actually straight, that was the path at the fork he passed by 10 seconds ago that he forgot to take. This path is part of a switchback down a mountain and Dave won't realize it until it's far too late. A bolt of lightning will strike somewhere off in the distance, briefly illuminating the picturesque mountains of the serene Pacific Northwest, and our Hero will pigsplain;
"Wow, look at that! Did you guys see that, a thund... a lightning bolt just went off and it lit up the sky. Wow, the atmosphere in this game is amaz--
OH NO!" He'll shout as both he and his motorcycle start a death slide towards the lip of the winding trail. The treads of his tires will dig in, praying for mercy that they, too, do not have to plummet to the ravine cutting through the landscape at the bottom. Were it a horse, it would buck its rider off right now.
Alas, there just wasn't enough time because Dave was too preoccupied with admiring the scenery because he barely leaves his pavement-wrapped suburban hellscape. He put the brakes on too late, and with the lack of knowledge that you brake more efficiently in a straight line when compared to turning (if the physics are modeled well enough), he'll slowly slide down the muddy, steep grade of the nature trail and his trusty ride will end up a twisted heap of gasoline-soaked metal and rubber.
"FUCKIN' STUPID DEVS! THEY MADE A STUPID LIGHTNING SHOOT OUT OF THE SKY AND IT BLINDED ME AND I DIDN'T SEE THE TURN COMING! COME ON! THERE'S NO WAY YOU CAN REACT THAT QUICKLY IN THE DARK! THEY WANT YOU TO TURN YOUR LIGHT OFF TO NOT ATTRACT ZOMBIES, BUT THEN YOU CAN'T SEE! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?!"
