An excerpt on his death from the Wiki, since I cannot find video.Wow. I don't remember that.
Through unknown circumstances, the military under Luthor's leadership was able to capture the Flash. Beaten, bruised, and weakened, Flash was brought before the President. Held in place by two soldiers, President Luthor publicly executed the Flash with a shotgun.
Fucking metal. An excerpt on his death from the Wiki, since I cannot find video.

Flash (Justice Lord)
In a parallel universe, the Flash was instrumental in the Justice Lords' adoption of fascist methods and their subjugation of their Earth for what they saw as the greater good. This Flash's history was identical to his Justice League counterpart until President Lex Luthor threatened the world...dcau.fandom.com
This is true not in the ways people expect. The MCU and its consequences have been a disaster for Western cinema.
This is probably because they assumed that Chris Nolan would be show running the DCEU, in which Nolan clearly had a different agenda, which is why I scratched my head as to why they continue putting his name on future works. The problem was that DC had no direction on a cinematic universe. I get that that is common to say, but it really goes deeper than the post-Man of Steel stuff. Technically Green Lantern was made to be the first DCEU film, but that makes no sense. Neither The Dark Knight Rises nor Man of Steel seem to be connected to it, with The Dark Knight being completely unable to. Seeing as these films premiered a year or two after, what was the behind the scenes team thinking? If GL was a success, these two films would fully destroy the flow of a universe as DC films are coming out that are not connected to GL right after.
I’m of a different opinion: that they still should have probably at least established all these characters beforehand. Make Man of Steel and Wonder Woman, but make a Batman film with a villain we don’t regularly see. They can make the same Aquaman film but cut out all reference to Steppenwolf and the Justice League events. Make a Flash film with Gorilla Grodd or Reverse-Flash.As for the 4 films, they should have just done a basic Superman origin, followed by a Batman then a Wonder Woman. For the fourth, we should have had a good Green Lantern film to set up the fifth movie, Justice League. Flash and Cyborg could have easily been introduced in the JL movie, especially Cyborg as what villain does he have for an origin movie? As for Aquaman, they can try to shoehorn him in, but he might just be better off not being present and just leaving the JL team to 6. They also could have just used Hawk Girl instead for a 7th member like the tv show did.
Thats what I meant by "I blame Injustice for POPULARIZING the evil Superman trope," I know its existed since at least the 3rd Christopher Reeves film I thinkThat storyline's been done since the early 2000s. It's really nothing new.
A starting rate at DC Comics or Marvel for a penciller was $150 per page back in 1998, when I began. I was told that $350 was top POSSIBLE page rate for a penciller. So I hustled on IMPULSE and a few other side projects for DC, and kept getting raises until I nearly hit that top rate. Finally, DC asked me if I wanted to do a "prestige format" project, which turned out to be FLASH: IRON HEIGHTS. This unlocked a secret pay scale at DC Comics: Book Rate."Top talent" you mean the cry babies who didn't get their way so fucked off to scam people?
You also don't make $116k to draw a comic. You would need to draw several a month to get that. Typical pay at DC and Marvel was up to $200 a page max. $150 being average. It's worse if you inked back in the day when that was still needed as you might be able to see $100 a page. Image would pay out more and also give you more control over your work, however they also used to charge more for their comics than Marvel and DC so they could take a hit. Soon as you see someone talking about the whole comic instead of what they made per page you can tell they're bullshitting you in the industry.
Why would Patterson not be the new Batman? That makes little sense. Also, does this mean the new DCEU is connected to the Burton films? How does this all work?Rumours going around from someone that were meant to have leaked stuff from the last Spiderman movie, so could be true

WB may have shat the bed if true for the following reasons.
1. Had the Zack Synder Justice League cut not came out you could write it off as just being a small number of fans being loud about shit, however, it did come out and it did very well for HBO Max showing the audience for it was bigger than he thought. You are just asking to piss off a number of these people by just reconning the movies they like and to create another backlash. Not bringing Zack Synder back makes sense but to go out your way to recon them like that is just an amazingly bad move.
2. Reboot Batman makes sense with Affleck done with the role after Flash, but Superman makes little sense when Cavill is open to returning and thanks to the Witcher is now a bigger star than he was during the past DC movies. Also not saying there is no market for a Supergirl movie just far less than that of a Superman movie.
3. People are sick of everything trying to be a cinematic universe, you already failed once with it so why try again and risk the audience getting even more burnt out. Also, the two biggest DC movies have been Aquaman which while set in the DCU was still very much stand-alone not building up to another movie and the other is Joker which was completely standalone.
5. You make the Flash unlikable, I mean if these rumours are true it means the Flash has wiped out Superman, Batman and who knows who else from existence in these movies. It will be very hard not to make him look like a villain if they do this.
If they absolutely can't resist not doing this, a movie about PTSD-ridden Bruce Wayne sneaking into criminals' houses and beating the shit out of them to resolve his mommy/daddy issues doesn't sound awful..If we did get a Batman in the Joker universe I bet he'd play up the stealth and fear aspects a lot rather than the crazy fight scenes and gadgets aspect. And I'd like to see that.
I like to think that the "DC" stands for "DC Comics"That's literally what they're called on legal documents since the late 70's.
There was an episode of Superman: The Animated Series with a similar plot, and an episode of the 1980s Superboy show too. I couldn't believe Superman and Lois ran pretty much the same premise yet again. It seems like exactly the kind of thing they'd try to avoid. If I am not mistaken, the entire premise for Injustice came from an episode of the animated Justice League where the team goes to a dimension run by The Justice Lords or whatever, basically dictator Justice League.
It's never really shown exactly. Question hallucinates about it and Lex Luthor kind of re-enacts it. iirc the original Justice Lord episode didn't even mention how or when Flash died. A lot the circumstances are totally unexplained. It's a lot more subtle than the hackneyed Injustice backstory. An excerpt on his death from the Wiki, since I cannot find video.

This all sounds completely retarded, so I can believe it.Rumours going around from someone that were meant to have leaked stuff from the last Spiderman movie, so could be true
No, Supergirl is played by actress Sasha CalleI should also ask if Supergirl will be played by the CW actress. I would not be surprised if DC tries to connect the universes much like Marvel with their shows.

This sounds retarded so it must be true, do they have such little faith in Pattinson's batman that they'd rather have Michale Keaton replace Affleck in the role? and removing Superman to give Supergirl is retarded, I'm gay for Cavill but love him or hate him as supes we can all agree that removing Superman to have Supergirl take his spot is retarded.Rumours going around from someone that were meant to have leaked stuff from the last Spiderman movie, so could be true

The actress is cute but the costume is just a w f u l.This is from a set pic.
The lack of blonde hair is throwing me off with it. Also, I just think Super Girl looks better with a skirt, never was a fan of the full blue suit. The actress is cute but the costume is just a w f u l.
maybe just maybe she will look better in film, set pics tend to look badThe actress is cute but the costume is just a w f u l.
Going by supposed set leaks, she is not Supergirl (Despite the movie calling her so) but Superwoman, meaning she is a gender-bent version go Kal-El, but I sort of agree she would look better in a skirt and not this suit that looks like a repurposed Spiderman costume from the Garfield era.The lack of blonde hair is throwing me off with it. Also, I just think Super Girl looks better with a skirt, never was a fan of the full blue suit.
With Zod and Faora being in the movie I'm expecting the twist is that this is their daughter and a new version of supergirlThe lack of blonde hair is throwing me off with it. Also, I just think Super Girl looks better with a skirt, never was a fan of the full blue suit.
Not as metal as Thomas Wayne shoving a fucking machete through Killer Croc's skull in Flashpoint.Fucking metal.

I like Cavill as Superman. I will deeply be upsit if this is trueWhy would Patterson not be the new Batman? That makes little sense. Also, does this mean the new DCEU is connected to the Burton films? How does this all work?

Another point to bring up, where does Suicide Squad fit in this? Is this WB’s chance to finally kill that failure of a brand off. I doubt Harley will be recast, so…
Rebooting the DCEU sounds like a good idea, but really looking at this rumor, this just seems way more confusing. I doubt WB would risk WW or Aquaman going, so clearly some remnants of the past will remain, but it is also all new? I also question why The Batman is not part of any of the plans. Also why get rid of Cavill, I believe he is loved by fans as Superman. I honestly hope he gets a second chance as normal Cavill really gives off the domineering yet nerd vibe of Superman, but the script really fucked him over 90% of the time. Dude should have killed the role.
I do wonder why they do that too Batmam alot?If they absolutely can't resist not doing this, a movie about PTSD-ridden Bruce Wayne sneaking into criminals' houses and beating the shit out of them to resolve his mommy/daddy issues doesn't sound awful..

And I'm just mentioning plots specifically about travelling to/from an alternate universe where Superman is a dictator. If you throw in every story where Superman turns evil, has an evil clone, whatever, the list is endless.

They turn Alan Scott gay? Why!!!!!!! Just so they can say they turn a superhero form the 1940s into a gay man?can't wait to hear about homophobia when no one likes the HBO Green Lantern series
Fuck DC for fagging up Alan Scott
Pretty much. This is really old news though, way before any SJW stuff. I want to say it was 2012 when this happened. To put it into context, I remember learning about this through MovieBob on the Escapist, it was quite an old decision. They turn Alan Scott gay? Why!!!!!!! Just so they can say they turn a superhero form the 1940s into a gay man?
