In some good news, the LEGO rumor mill is going off this week. After years of getting the bare minimum of content, DC and Batman will seemingly be making a triumphant return this year. So far two major projects have been leaked. The first is a Batman The Animated Series set which is described to be an Art Deco piece with movable parts as to style everything like a comic. The set will come with Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, and the Phantasm. In other news, the rumored LEGO Disney is now said to be cancelled, shifting the team’s focus towards a LEGO Batman 4 title. Stuff has also been said that Warner is getting more involved with Tt. Many are believing this to mean another Dimensions style title may be a possibility currently.

There is some stuff that does sound good, but at this point I give less of a shit about the DC films. I don't even hate James gunn and actually like his work, but for as good as he is I don't think he could manage a cinematic universe. At this point though, people will be sick of superheroes so unless these films do anything different than it will be bad.

It doesn't help Warner Bros keeps cancelling shit and the DC movies this year look like shit.

Only things I'll look forward to from DC at this point are just Joker 2 and The Batman 2

DC has got to be the most abused fandom at this point. I saw what Gunn announced and aside from a couple of things, it doesn't look good.
It's honestly hilarious that people don't realize that Gunn could turn out exactly the same way as Snyder. Dawn of the Dead and 300 were both pretty good movies and then look what happened. They could just hire a bunch of good directors to make movies and then try to tie them in later if they succeed or even better not do this cinematic universe bullshit at all. No one had trouble grasping that Joker and the Batman are entirely different movies doing their own thing.

Woah a brand new Batboy Jr. Poster

It's funny the Flash's first "solo" film is Flashpoint and relying on Batman being so prominent in it, considering Flash has one of the strongest rogues' galleries outside the A-list Bat and Spidey ones. I mean I know why it became Flashpoint for continuity and business reasons... you'd just think in a vacuum he'd be one of the easier heroes to whip up stories for based on their variety and making him merely as fast as he needs to be for challengers till the inevitable third act powerup.

You know what I hate about the dc movies? Every character has completely different personalities from any source material I can think of. Barry Allen especially has always pissed me off, as not only did they fuck up his character, they didn't even bother to dye the dudes hair the right color. But I guess I would watch this movie for free if the reverse flash is in it.

I’m convinced they’ve got Ezra Miller locked up in a room somewhere until they can get this film out and be done with it.

Yeah but 'member Michael Keaton, 'member Ben Affleck, 'member Michael Shannon.

Seriously Warner Bros have learned the wrong lessons from No Way Home's success and the consoomer reaction really enables this bullshit.

Plus it reuses one of Superman's villains, who'll likely be defeated by Latina Supergirl.
